Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

i have been discussion my fixation and trauma memory issues with AI and found it most helpful. i had no idea how useful just logical analysis can be when quickly emotionally overloaded.

i've been busy writing a poem about the grounded technique we have been discussing, all about the work my therapist is doing with me.

An emotional less reply based on information and logic is very useful to me when an emotional overload has me loose touch with reality.

When Truth Is Out Of Touch.

When my truth feels like it has left me,
truth has not gone away—
confusion only blots it out.

An overloaded mind, heeding lies
through haywire emotions,
visited by a turbulent past.

These are hurricanes blowing,
not the end of what is real.

I do not need to chase my truth.
I do not need to solve my issues.
I must not search in the dark.

I need to ground myself instead.

I must come out of my head
and return to my body—
to breathe the air,
to feel the weight of this moment,
to hold onto what is real.

Even as my body shakes with terror—

this is memory, not the present.
I do not have to lose the now.

These waves can pass through me.
I do not have to go with them.

My truth—quiet, steady, unchanged—
waits where I have always been.

I have lived my truth.
I have held my truth.
Even if I cannot feel it now—

truth remains.

Love remains—
even here,
even now.

I feel the hurt of what is wrong,
but I am not lost.
“Even here,
this is not godforsaken ground.

Jesus You are with me!

You truly fill all things!
True safety is Your truth.
wherever i have to be.

Hi @heartathome , @DownMoreThanUp , @Appleblossom , @ENKELI , @tyme , @Shaz51 , @MissGremlin ,

Romans 5

- Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

- We also stand in God's grace.

- And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

- We rejoice in afflictions because afflictions produce endurance which produces character which produces hope.

- This hope will not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit.

- For Christ died for us while we were helpless so that we might be declared righteous by his blood.

- We rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

- Christ's gift is better and more powerful than Adam's disobedience.

- Resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

How rich we are in Jesus Christ! But still there is verses three and four which say we rejoice in afflictions because afflictions produce endurance which produce character which produce hope. Why did Paul include that?

I have recently discovered Joni Eareckson Tada, (thanks DownMoreThanUp), a quadriplegic who praises God all the time. She wakes up in pain. So much pain that she immediately has to turn to God in prayer for help. God answers with an overwhelming awareness of God. Joni talks about God being concerned for our soul and what's best for our soul. Afflictions are good for the soul.

Hi @heartathome , @DownMoreThanUp , @Appleblossom , @ENKELI , @tyme , @Shaz51 , @MissGremlin ,

Romans 6

- Should we continue in sin so grace can multiply?

- No!

- Our old life was buried in baptism so we may walk in newness of life, in the likeness of His resurrection.

- Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him.

- Consider yourselves dead to sin and alive in God in Christ Jesus.

- For sin will not rule over you, because you are not under law but under grace.

- We are slaves to who we obey - either sin or obedience leading to righteousness.

- Since you have been set free from sin and have become enslaved to God you are made holy and its end is eternal life.

- The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Remembering and sowing to Jesus as we walk through life. Alive in His resurrection. God knows that we are weak and what that looks like for each of us.

Support button not working @Realness . Thanks for the summery! We went through Romans 5 today in church and I got the same thing from it. It amazes me how much God loves sinful people. All of us! I find His love unfathomable! 💚

i've had such a crappy day today. Less than a hour last night and lots of body trauma, which means feeling anxious all the time. It has been hard to keep my mind of it, i has been so persistent. i try the exercises but it does not seem to help, not even a little. Frustrating.

The good news my wife and me have worked out a plan to see if we can fix the things that have broken between us over time. For at the moment neither want to get back together as things have been.

She is coming around tomorrow the aim is to progressively try and rebuild our relationship truthfully for both to be. Which means that if my wife feels uncomfortable, or me for that matter, we will leave such interactions out of our relationship and figure out another way of doing it that does not trigger or upset. The aim is seeing each other twice a week for 1/2 day but we will begin with one day and not set things down in concrete but make sure we have flexibility fro both sides.

Very thankful things are finally beginning to move.😍
