Having a rather down day today, with lots of sadness and nausea. Bummer! i hate down days like this. For the down is always worse when physically unwell as well.

i hope i feel better tomorrow, for i hope to be able to spend time with my wife for her birthday. At least lunch, and hopefully a nice hike around the river. We are going to a little Town nearby and they have this awesome hike around the river e love doing together.

Blessings to all.

Hi @heartathome , @DownMoreThanUp , @Appleblossom , @ENKELI , @tyme , @Shaz51 , @MissGremlin

Romans 4

- What about Abraham?

- Was Abraham justified by works? (as opposed by faith)

- "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness."

- This was before Abraham was circumcised.

- Circumcision was the seal/evidence of this righteousness that comes by faith.

- So Abraham is father of those with Abraham's faith and those of the Law.

- Abraham had faith he would have a child despite being 100 years old and the barrenness of Sarah's womb.

- This faith was credited to him for righteousness.

- Righteousness will also be credited to us who believe in God, who raised Jesus our Lord.

Nothing has changed in how God works with people. Abraham shows it has always been faith first. What follows is just the evidence of that faith.

@Realness @heartathome @Appleblossom @Shaz51 Today started a disaster. i hardly slept and have two day of upheaval that had me exhausted. Today was the day my wife and me were going to go out yet i felt angry and betrayed by here the two days and the last 40 days been. Here i had the house cleaned up, everything ready for her to come, but i felt deeply down and angry and betrayed, even though i did not want to feel that i did anyway, yet sadly it was true, i did feel at times like that.. She had abandon me when i was suicidal. over the last month i have been freaking myself down for all i want to do is go be with Jesus more than a few times.Talk about being saved by the skin of my truth it has been very much like that. So i been praying big time i knew my wife would come at 10:30am and if she found me in this state i would stuff up everything. Then Jesus reminded me of my nicotine patches so that is the first thing He got me to do. Let it all out He encouraged me, so i spat the dummy big time. When i got to the end i could see how it was all about me, and how i had been feeling, and not at all about her, or us. Mercifully Jesus burned thinking and feeling like that out of me right there and then with my wife arriving just minutes later. To be honest this is one of the best times i have had with me wife for a long time. Like many years! For we did talk, She as well! She talk honestly and openly where we were at and what would need to happen for us to be safely united. It ended up being humble pie for both of us having done it wrong, yet also much encouraged where we hope for reconciliation. because we both know we mean well. My wife promised she would work on her side to make clear what needed to happened for us to get back together again. And she agreed she had been cold emotionally and was having trouble with feeling like that towards herself as well. And so things apart of the main issues we both already understood were discussed. All of this given me perspective bad motivation to fight my depressive mindset wanting me to give up and end it. For my struggle deepest down is for me to have perspective and progress, which had only gotten worse when it came to my wife expressing love or affection for me, but she had been given me plenty of the other stuff. She admitted that she had also dissociated over the years, and had lost touch with herself, and did not really knew where to look back for herself or what she want for us to be. Both of us basically in tears where things had not worked out even as we were mentioning all the things that had, but also and above all how much both hoped we could retain it our good life together for such had been build on truth. This is the first time my wife has opened up about some of the more painful issue we had together, and she kept from me because of my illness, and her fear to be confronted feeling like that, but she could not keep any longer for she had her own needs and they were real but ignored. The strange part is that i had to do the same with her, but from a a very different perspective, yet ultimately we both made the same mistake. We build our life together on each other much more than the Lord and therefore now things were crumbling all around us. And that the love between us was true. So we decided to work on that and not surrender it to the wolves our hurt and indecision. We both agreed that this was so. And she told me she work on a plan on how she would envision us coming back together would work for her. As i already told her what he would need to shed coming back, but she had understood that as i had understood where i needed to become obsolete. Hard to lay life down for each other but very important to preserve the good we got loving true all these years. However much we failed elsewhere! She never left till after 4pm. Sweet bitter seeing her go. For her too i know. She would love to come back, and admitted she constantly feels she should come back out of guilt and obligation, but she knows, that wont help her, and i wont have her back like that. She knows i want her to be open and honest to me and be who she really is and feels, and not how she thinks she should be because of me. Ironically the same truths counts for me. i cannot build my good life on her either. Such is gong to crash big time, as we have seen. Yet where we build on Jesus we are still one as ever and completely agree with each other where we are at and how best go about thongs. The power of true love always astonishes me. Praise Jesus!

Hi @DownMoreThanUp ,

Thanks for sharing about today. I was just wondering about you and how it went.

It sounded like a good day after a bad start. What amazing conversations you are having! But very intense. Are you exhausted?

May Jesus continue to guide you both.

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness Yes we were both exhausted. Like i said sweet bitter days like today. Seeing her go had me nauseated as. It is hard to be so emotional about things but that woman means the world to me. So showed me true love, a love i did not know could be real. My agony has been for years that she denies herself the very love she gave me. She is a wonderful person but she always thinks herself bad.

@ENKELI @heartathome @Appleblossom @Shaz51

Almost all the good people i know seem to suffer from that 'demon lying' in their head. i know i did for years myself. Jesus is so very much better to know isn't?

Re: Christian Chat

@DownMoreThanUp @tyme @Realness @heartathome @Appleblossom I often wonder what the purpose of living on earth is, for Jesus promises us everything good in Heaven.

Why must some of us struggle so terribly while others walk a relatively easy path? Why did God give me all this heartache and illness while my ex friend walks a path so easy?

I am glad you had a good day with your wife, you are a faithful servant and loving husband @DownMoreThanUp
