Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Re: Christian Chat

@AuntGlow hey there lovely.

I contact the educational institute and was advised that all Cert 3 Business Administration courses now have these units that must be completed. I think it is probably good for younger students but I do wish they had RPL as I would have been onto the second semester by now. I guess I am frustrated because I have been working in administration for 30 years but because businesses want their employees to have a certification I am required to do the course to get hired in jobs I know back to front.

I'm almost finished this part though so soon enough I'll be into the meaty stuff!

I don't think I have healed from the trauma of previous toxic workplaces. It will be interesting to see if I have when I commence a new position. I have been out of paid work for 2 years, having been caring for my dad and then studying. I think I need to stay away from Transport as the majority of Transport companies have the same toxic environment.

Yes, Telstra was the best employer I have had by far. I have a file full of commendations for customer service as well as sales performance and while part of it is due to my personality and empathy, part of it is definitely because of the excellent training I had. Of course government organisations are always better to work for than private companies as govt will adhere to workplace law and guidelines when private companies will do what they can to get around them in some instances.

I would love a govt job again, not because they are cushy but because they offer the stability and structure that I prefer. I didn't much like having to sell to customers and answer calls for 9 hours a day but it was an environment that I felt secure in.

Once I have finished this course I will be applying for medical positions as well as records management. God's got it all under control though!

xo

Good morning @AuntGlow

I can't remember what I posted but I must have been telling you of meeting someone in person for the first time.

How did it feel to meet them in person? I was nervous and excited at the same time before I met them. All of the anxiety went when I gave them a hug! 🤗

What did you enjoy/notice about that experience? What I noticed about the experience is that it's possible to enjoy the company of the opposite sex. That some men are genuine and caring with no strings attached!! I'm not meaning to put all men down, just some of the ones I've been with! 🫤 I'm not totally innocent either!! This was a positive experience that we'd both like to do again!

I love a coffee catch-up. 💜

Hi @heartathome , @DownMoreThanUp , @Appleblossom , @ENKELI , @tyme , @MissGremlin , @REDLINEZ750 , @AlwaysMyself ,

Acts 1

- Luke's second report to Theophilus (Acts continues on from Luke).

- For forty days after Jesus suffered Jesus presented Himself alive to the apostles with many convincing proofs, and speaking about the kingdom of God.

- Jesus told the apostles not to leave Jerusalem where they are to soon receive the Holy Spirit.

- Apostles: Is Israel about to be restored?

- Jesus: Not for you to know times but you will receive the Holy Spirit and be My witnesses.

- Jesus taken up in a cloud.

- Angels appear. Jesus will appear in the same way He disappeared.

- The apostles meet in Jerusalem. Continually united in prayer.

- Peter stands up before 120 brothers and sisters. Appoints Matthias as replacement for Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus.

Peter emerging as leader. The Holy Spirit about to be given.

I have my second GP appointment in 4 days - my GP of 25 years retired so I had to find a new one for some medications including my antidepressants. Unfortunately the GP I saw is new to WA and doesn't have privileges to write scripts for opioids yet so it was a fruitless waste of his and my time. All good, he seemed nice enough and was very apologetic.
I am hoping I don't have any issue with the GP today!

Y'all are in my prayers and I hope the first week of February is good to you xo

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness @heartathome @AuntGlow @tyme @Appleblossom have any of you seen or read Lee Strobels' The Case for Christ? I saw the movie and then got the book. Lee really did his research trying to prove Jesus wasn't the Messiah.

Reading your posts @Realness for some reason made me think of it. When Lee was trying to dispel the "myth" of Jesus' resurrection he finds out the evidence of how He appeared to many people including women.
If you haven't seen the movie I recommend it.

Re: Christian Chat

Hey @ENKELI

Thanks for sharing the book and movie. I remember hearing about Lee Strobel and The Case for Christ years ago. Amazing testimony, hey!

I hope all goes well with the new GP! 💜

Re: Christian Chat

@heartathome hi lovely.

New GP not the greatest. I don't blame her completely but her bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. I often wonder why people become doctors when they have no empathy.

My bestie goes to the same practice and recommended it but she doesn't have a complex medical history like those of us with MH concerns do.
I just wish my former GP had given more warning that he was retiring instead of just a couple of weeks.

How are you going today?

@heartathome I liked that meme about God not rushing us too.

Hugs

@ENKELI Its hard losing a good Gp. I had a great one about 15 years ago but he retired and I never found another as good. At hte moment, I am basically without one. I just go once or twice per year. Hope she improves for you.
