Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Re: Christian Chat

Good morning @Realness

I totally believe God uses our lived/ living experience to support others along the way! Thanks for sharing with me. I like walking this with you!

I had a very entertaining mind thanks to the changed reality. It got me through. Did you find psychosis a positive experience? My son told me that when he first went into psychosis, he felt a spiritual connection.

I felt God saying, "She's Mine. No one is allowed near her at this time!...I've got this!" Aww. That is so special Realness!! Our God is so good. I feel like He was protecting you!

I'm sorry that you fell between the cracks and had no emotional support. I imagine, it would have been a lonely time, I hear that you weren't up to seeing people either, especially after the worker lost it!!

I'm not surprised you ended the story praising God. That is totally you! I pray God blesses you today!

The concert was great, and I danced all night (only drinking water - no Dutch courage) I did have three shots of coffee and ice-cream (Affagato) at dinner beforehand, though! 😄💛

Hi @DownMoreThanUp Yes, I'm glad all the Christmas and New Year hu ha is over with! I was blessed as it wasn't as bad as I imagined! 😄 We have about 15,000 extra people on holidays for the next five weeks or something! I try to avoid going downtown at the moment as it's chaotic.

Personally, I'm doing okay! I'm spending a lot of time on here but still managing to get out and do some things.

😲 I had no idea that Baker Street was about Christ!!! I've been listening to that song for years and never knew! Good song choice downmorethanup! It even charted, didn't it? 💛

Hi @heartathome , @DownMoreThanUp , @Appleblossom , @ENKELI , @REDLINEZ750 ,

Luke 22

- Judas Iscariot betrays Jesus.

- The Passover

- The Lord's Supper initiated during the Passover.

- The apostles still stuck on who is the greatest among them.

- Jesus replies the leader should be like a servant.

- But Jesus also tells the apostles, "I bestow on you a kingdom just as my Father bestowed one on Me, so that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom. And you will set on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel."

- Jesus to Peter: "Simon, Simon, look out. Satan has asked to sift you like wheat. But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers."

- Mount of Olives.

- Jesus to the apostles: "Pray that you may not fall into temptation."

- Jesus in anguish. He prays for another way - take this cup away from Me - nevertheless, not My will, but Yours be done.

- Angel from heaven strengthens Jesus.

- The disciples are asleep.

- Jesus to the disciples, "Get up and pray, so that you won't fall into temptation."

- The mob led by Judas Iscariot arrive.

- Judas kisses Jesus to indicate which man.

- The Apostles - Do we strike with the sword? (High priest's servant is struck and then healed by Jesus).

- Jesus - why have you come for me as if I were a criminal? ... But this is your hour and the dominion of darkness.

- They seize Jesus.

- Peter follows at a distance. He denies he knows Jesus three times before the rooster crows. The Lord looks at Peter. Peter remembers the Lord's words. Peter leaves and weeps bitterly.

- Jesus is mocked, beaten, blindfolded and taunted.

- Daylight. Jesus is brought before the Sanhedrin - tell us if you are the Messiah?

- Jesus, " . . . But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God."

Jesus' anguish jumps out at me in this chapter. It was not easy for Him to give His life on the cross!

Re: Christian Chat

@heartathome No Baker Street is not about Christ. This is a Parody of Baker Street. By a band called Apologetix, they turned many old hits into Christian Parodies .

The grand kids love them!😁

Another one of theirs! (i always thought the lyrics of the original, 'Stair Way To heaven', were meaningless, but i loved the music, so now i love listening to it. Very meaningful in Parody.

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @heartathome ,

Wow you must have a lot of energy! It's great that you had such a good time at the concert.

I'm sorry my timing was out with Story 2. You would have been preparing for a great night out and a special concert.

I agree that God uses our lived/living experience to help others. It is impossible to understand without lived experience. It is unimaginable. Thanks for walking this with me.

Before this experience my experience of the world had been a "good enough" world. Workplaces were "fair enough." Not perfect. Not totally fair or good. But good enough, fair enough. Life had been kind to me and I had always landed on my feet. But that particular work experience was not "fair enough."

The confounding factor was the stressful work environment. I was too stressed already and not in a state to take on any battles for justice. I didn't know it but it was inevitable I would end up a stressed out mess.

I really believe that psychosis is from God. When a person experiences a ridiculously stressful/unimaginable situation God gives the person a different reality to get the heart rate back to normal etc. Otherwise the person would not come down in time. That was my experience at any rate. God was all through it and very comforting. With God in my face like that, I wasn't lonely for people.

It is a temporary device for an emergency situation. The person does need to return to reality. And it does require medication to let go of the captivating world.

Thank you @Realness for going to the trouble of making and typing out a summary of your Bible reading! 💛

@Realness Jesus' anguish jumps out at me in this chapter. Yeah, I feel that too, especially when He cries out to God to take the cup from Him.

It would have been so lonely when he found everyone asleep. I'm glad the world wasn't relying on me!!

I also wonder about Judas and his betrayal. How sad that he didn't cry out for repentance. That's just me being an empath. 💛

Re: Christian Chat

@DownMoreThanUp Oh, okay. I didn't even know what a parody was. I didn't find it funny, though. Was it supposed to be? I liked the first one best. Now that I've heard them, they will probably pop up on my playlist! 💛

Re: Christian Chat

@heartathome No i did not think it was meant to be funny. More for people who find the music of the songs without that much meaning nice and they give them more meaning. i like the first one i shared with you a lot too, but they have lots of others. i bought all their songs years ago for 150 bucks on special more than 1500 songs, their originals as well as all their parodies.

The grand kids love them and remember them with the meanings of the Christian parodies rather than the originals.

@Realness @Appleblossom @AlwaysMyself @ENKELI

i think these are the three i like best, also because of their video clips.
