Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Jesus replies, "I saw Satan fall from heaven ... but rejoice instead that your names are enrolled in Heaven."

I love this from Jesus @Realness I must keep my eyes up because looking down is depressing at the moment. I'm just trying to keep my head above water.

I accidently locked my son's dog, Polly, out last night which I felt really bad about. My son was great about it.

Let me think of something nice. I saw a friend today, and we spent time with my son. My son isn't in psychosis, and I got to spend time with his dog and cat, which always puts a smile on my face!

I can be grateful that I'm home safe and sound. The song that just came on is Eva Cassidy - What a Wonderful World! It's a very gentle song. God is so good to me that I could cry! I'm okay.

I'm not depressed. Just sad. How are you going? I can see that you're reaching out to support others and am wondering how you are. Take care of yourself, my friend! 💛

Re: Christian Chat

Hello @heartathome ,

I just watered the front garden so I'm collapsed on the bed and well probably too much detail but covered in sweat. It's a hot day. Even now.

How am I? How is life?

Well because I've spent so much time in God's Word I'm in a gentle peace. Things could be so much worse.

But I'm not happy with my lot in life. I'm on medication for life and that medication takes away my energy. It always has. I am symptom free but it is replaced by a kind of chronic fatigue. This is the reality of my life.

One day I will go into more detail. I might even mention the label that hangs over me. I hate it. I was helping people and had a breakdown and now have a label over me. I know that shows I've got a long way to go on this journey. But I really do feel that the label takes away my value as a person.

Time to mention that gentle peace again. Time to remember I now have more time to read God's Word. Time to know that somehow this is all working together for good.

Re: Christian Chat

You are so valued on here @Realness ! Personally, you have been a big support to me even though I haven't known you for very long. I appreciate you a lot!

I wouldn't worry about labels on here, unless you want to talk about it. The only 'normal' I know is a setting on a washing machine (or it used to be)!

Instead of saying I'm Bipolar, I say I'm a person who has Bipolar. It's only a tiny thing but it has made a small difference. I haven't told anyone what my labels are apart from having CPTSD and anxiety. I guess a bit more is out of the bag now! 🙂 I'm fine with that.

It sounds like you've got a huge side effect from your medication!! I've heard chronic fatigue symptoms are debilitating!! I hope the medication helps in other ways! Do you get any help from others, like home help or your family? I hope someone is there for you!

Maybe you're meant to be on here at the moment Realness? You are a quiet witness to me and I'm sure to the others! I was listening to this song while replying to you, not saying you are desperate! 💛

Re: Christian Chat

Thanks @heartathome ,

It's a good song.

I live with Mum and between the two of us we get things done.

I'm very thankful I found the Forum. I feel I am making friends and getting support here. What is unmentionable can be talked about here. It's amazing.

I know my future purpose has something to do with complex mental health. It's possible/probable I have already found it with this Forum.

I think I read that you got some sleep last night, which is great! I'm just trying to take care of myself at the moment. I hope you understand! 💛

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @heartathome , @DownMoreThanUp , @Appleblossom , @ENKELI ,

Yesterday and today I spent time in Luke 11:

- The Lord's Prayer (Honour God's Name, Ask for God's Kingdom to come, God's will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, Give us our daily food, Forgive us as we forgive others, Bring us not into temptation.)

- Ask God boldly and persistently (like waking and asking a neighbour at midnight).

- Ask, and it will be given you.

- Seek, and you shall find.

- Knock, and the door will be opened.

- "If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"

- "But if I drive out the demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you."

- "Blessed are those who hear the Word of God and obey it!"

- Your eye is the lamp of your body - good eyes and your whole body is full of light.

- Pharisee dinner. Jesus offends the Pharisee by not washing before dinner. Jesus replies that God cares about the inside, not just the outside. You're tithing mint but neglecting the love of God. Woe to the Pharisees for neglecting the love of God, loving prestige, giving people oppressive loads to carry, honouring the killing of the prophets, hiding the key of knowledge and hindering others from entering.

Asking God boldly and persistently. I don't do it. It's a lesson for me.

I love the image of the finger of God. God is that powerful - He is using that small a fraction of His power.

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @heartathome ,

Thanks for your post on misconceptions and myths of Christmas. I had a friend who was really interested in pinpointing what year Jesus was born. He was really into Daniel and stars and signs. Was even writing a book on it. Using prophecy from Daniel and how time has been measured through the ages. Included signs in the sky. I believed him that even today, like at the birth of Jesus, the stars in our sky can be signs from God.

At the time I was working full time. I would come home exhausted and listen to him while he would talk about his studies for that day. To be honest, I thought I don't really care which year it really is. But I believe there is still quite a bit of debate about which year it really was. But not debate that it is out.

Lovely to hear that you had a Bible Study that really interested you.

Ask, and it will be given you

Thanks @Realness I've been taught that this is often taken out of context and aimed more towards spiritual gifts and God's traits; things we pray for. Eg: patience, wisdom, compassion, love etc. What do you think? Maybe someone out there has won lotto after praying for it. 😉 If I had a lot of money and material things, I think I would be easily led astray from God. I may not be rich materially but am spiritually rich in God's sight (because of Jesus)! God knows what's best for me! 💛
