Christian Chat

Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness Thanks for checking in on me. No i'm not well. i have been very unwell and still am. Physically very unwell. No voices or hallucinations and not overly deep down, but feeling so unwell that it floored me most of the day.

My wife wants to go to Perth again tomorrow, till Friday night to bury our brother in law. We are a little worried that if i do not pick up she wont be able to go. i hope i get some sleep. Haven't been able to.

Trying to keep my mind of feeling crappy modding a game when i felt well enough to do so, but even that was too much most of the time.

Blah

Thanks for caring.

@Realness @DownMoreThanUp Thinking of you both! I'm sorry to hear you're not good downmorethanup! How are you doing realness? I went to a preschool graduation yesterday afternoon. @Realness @heartathome Thanks friends. i'm feeling a lot better this morning, but not there yet. i did go back to bed and got some more sleep.

i think i made 6 1/2 hours last night, so that best i have done for a very long time. Sometimes feeling sick works for good!😉

How are you handling the pressure @Realness? i know with all the Christmas tensions in everyone i get triggered simply walking in town and feeling it radiate from everyone around me. Do you get that when you're unwell?

A nice song to help set our minds on high.

Hi @heartathome ,

Great to hear from you. Did you enjoy the preschool graduation? (I don't really get all these graduations these days: preshool, primary school, etc) I get not being up to a dinner. I imagine it will be good to get home to your own space.

Hi @DownMoreThanUp ,

That's great news that you're feeling better. Six and a half hours sleep is great!

The pressure of Christmas. How am I coping with it? I don't like this time of year. My test day will be Christmas Day. A fairly big family gathering. Mum and I will travel two to three hours each way when we don't really fit with the rest of the family. Okay one on one or in small groups but all together it's hard work. The travel time will give us an excuse to leave early. A week away today. I am already starting to breathe deeply and psyche myself for the event.

Hi @Realness

The graduation was sweet but long. I don't know how the five year old's managed, especially with dinner after! I had a sleep in today till 7 which was nice. I've been lacking sleep too. My Christmas day was going to be a quiet day with my partners sister to being with the whole family now. About 15 - 20 people. Like you, I'm trying to psyche myself up for it! 💛

Hi All,

I read Luke 10 today.

- It starts with Jesus sending out the 70, two by two, ahead of Him. Some of their instructions:

* abundant harvest but few workers - pray for workers;

* sending them out as lambs amongst wolves;

* travel light - no money, sandals;

* don't greet anyone along the road (a sense of urgency);

* stay in the first house that accepts you;

* heal the sick and tell them, "The kingdom of God has come close to you.";

* If they don't receive you then shake the dust off. Again, telling the people "the kingdom of God has come close to you.";

* Woe to the town/person who doesn't welcome Jesus and His miracles.

- The 70 return. Even the demons were subject to them in Jesus name! Jesus replies, "I saw Satan fall from heaven ... but rejoice instead that your names are enrolled in Heaven."

- Jesus prays. Thank You that You have revealed all this to babes/little children (not the wise).

- Jesus tells the disciples that they are blessed to see the Messiah walk the earth - many prophets longed to see these days.

- Teacher of the Law approaches Jesus. "What am I to do to inherit everlasting life?" He already knows the right answer. "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind; love your neighbour as self." Jesus replies, "You are correct. Do this and you will have eternal life."

- But then the Teacher of the Law wants neighbour defined.

- Leads into the Parable of the Good Samaritan. Everyone is our neighbour. Show mercy to all people.

- The chapter finishes with Mary and Martha. Martha busy serving. Mary at the feet of Jesus, listening. Mary made the better choice.

i like to share you a video which i have only just been listening to as well with increasing interest. All focussed on our breathing and our breath being part of what can reveal to us how we do wrong when it has a bad effect, or reveal how right breathing brings good, in increasing manner.

Well worth listening to i found. And i already see things about myself becoming focussing on my breath just listening to him first time.

Stuff to think about!
