I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!
I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Thanks! 🫶 Church service was on Peace
Isaiah 9.1 (ICB) - Nevertheless, that time of darkness and despair will not go on forever.
Isaiah 9.6, 7 (ICB) - And he will be called: Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of peace.
Isaiah 7.14 (ICB) - Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (God is with us).
I'm glad He walks beside me! @Realness@REDLINEZ750What steals our peace is only temporary! 💛

Re: Christian Chat
@heartathome Awesome that you could go to Church this morning and what a wonderful message.
Walking in His truth brings us His peace! How true is that?
@Realness did you have Luke 7 at Church or were they your own mediations? i love the bit about The Pharisee despising the sinful woman. How often i in my religious alter despised myself in the needs, wants and wrongs of my flesh? Yet how true Christ's love is for us? For even while we are steeped in sin Jesus loves washes us clean. No wonder she anointed His feet!
Such a powerful story don't you reckon? The love Jesus has for us even while we are wrong. That is why i love Him so much, for His love took my wrong away. As such does faith in His blood.
Prince of peace. i love His name like that. It is always the first sign we get leaving the turmoil of the lies inside our heart behind. When His peace greets us His love comes back into His truth. You know what i mean?
i'm far too unstable to go to Church i saw last time i went. i have to grow stronger before i venture out there again. It took me two weeks to get over the experience the pastor laying the law down on us and making all of us in Church prisoners again of our sins instead of blessings us free Christ's blood. Such practises upsets me endlessly. (The Pastor was a visiting retired pastor from elsewhere but it still rocked my boat at the time. And i can see how vulnerable i am when they lay the law down like that.)
Otherwise i have not been too bad. Good to see both of you are okay too.
I struggle with going to church these days. Medication induced lethargy is a big part of it but there's more to it than that. I don't think it's a lack of forgiveness. There's something I need to get my head around. I'm stuck somehow. Whatever it is that got me to church each Sunday has gone. But perhaps the message is that God is okay with medical conditions (or for others old age) preventing people from making it to church.

Re: Christian Chat
@Realness Fully relate to where you are.
Jesus took me out of Church so i could begin to heal that is how bad going to Church has been for me a lot of the time. i love brothers and sisters in faith, but at the moment the place is ruled by religious, not faith driven people. This is what hurts me, for we with faith in Jesus are the Church, not their carnal understanding how to live a moral correct life as a Christian.
Jesus is The Way. Keep following Him and do not let satan make you feel guilty not going to Church, for each time you share your faith in Jesus with someone else who has faith in Jesus you are His Body in flesh and in unity
Thank you very much for your posts to me @heartathome
and @Realness
and @ENKELI
it matters and helps
One bottom line for me is that in my particular story the church orphanage was better than the 2 state orphanages I was in. Just the humans were somehow kinder. Though I get told off a lot in general social conversation, if I mention that gratitude, as many people hated the nuns. That is how grateful for crumbs I have been.
Sadly this wasnt the situation for my father, who endured more institutional child sex abuse than my sister or I. etc etc etc. Yes, I have submitted to enquiries, but not received compensation. Anyway, no amount of being paid off will balance the stakes. He is long gone, anyway, but it is why I totally forgive him for going to hospital when I was 6. I just didnt experience that much bad behaviour or neglect, and have a sense of what was generionely within his control and what can a dead person do? I am very analytical, but I also try to be balanced and practice Christian virtues. Being a pedophile victim was more his issue than schizophrenia in my well researched opinion.
Change of subject ... gradually ...
JOKES ...
also from my perspective of being an abused charity child. That was my catholic foster father trying to get social kudos at church by dangling me in public at 7, but beating me up behind the scenes. No thank you sir.
They appeal, cos I did do Earth Science and care about maths and stats and responsible accounting and money management etc etc...
So hopefully I can bring the mood up without having upset or triggered people by my hard luck story, that I have actually had to wait too long before I even got to speak it. The others all died before they were heard. I manage to reconcile religion with science, though many do not. I have a sense for the liminal space of spirituality and transcendence and apparent contradictions. I also respect all the genuine faiths and spiritual practices that have helped the world.
The teaching grandmothers to suck eggs situations... are not uncommon. But I still love men and all peoples under the Rainbow. I am that mad. Am I that bad?
Also had dreadful feelings and religious trainings in unworthiness, and survivor guilt.
Thank you all on this thread who have cared. I really appreciate it.
A joke about Creation
An atheist scientist came to God and said, “We’ve figured out how to make a man without you.” God said, “OK, let me see you do it.” So the atheist bent down to the ground and scooped up a handful. But God stopped him and said, “Oh, no you don’t. Get your own dirt!”
I don’t want to go to church today!
A mother went to wake her son for church one Sunday morning. When she knocked on his door, he said, “I’m not going!” “Why not?” asked his mother. “I’ll give you two good reasons,” he said. “One, they don’t like me. Two, I don’t like them.” His mother replied, “I’ll give you two good reasons why YOU WILL go to church. One, you’re 47 years old. Two, you’re the pastor!”
The coin toss
By the time Bobby arrived, the football game had already started. “Why are you so late?” asked his friend. “I couldn’t decide between going to church and going to the football game. So I tossed a coin,” said Bobby. “But that shouldn’t have taken too long.” said the friend. “Well, I had to toss it 35 times.”
The $100 and $1
Two well-worn bills arrived at the Federal Reserve Bank to be retired – a $100 and a $1. As they traveled down the conveyor belt, they struck up a conversation. The hundred reminisced about the interesting life he had, traveling all over the country. “I’ve been to the finest restaurants, Broadway shows, Las Vegas, and amusement parks,” he said. “I even want on a Caribbean cruise once. Where have you been?” “Oh,” said the one dollar bill, “I’ve been to a Methodist church, an Episcopal church, a Baptist church, and a Lutheran church.” “What’s a church?” asked the hundred.
Sandwiches and weddings
A Jewish rabbi and a Catholic priest were good friends. At a picnic one day, the priest was eating a ham sandwich. “You know,” he said to his friend, “this ham sandwich is delicious. I know you’re not supposed to eat ham, but I don’t understand why such a good thing would be forbidden. When will you break down and try it?” To which the rabbi replied, “At your wedding.”
Top 10 reasons God made Eve
God was worried that Adam would frequently become lost in the garden because he would not ask for directions.
God knew that one day Adam would require someone to locate and hand him the remote.
God knew Adam would never go out and buy himself a new fig leaf when his wore out and would therefore need Eve to buy one for him.
God knew Adam would never be able to make a doctor, dentist or haircut appointment for himself.
God knew Adam would never remember which night to put the garbage on the curb.
God knew if the world was to be populated, men would never be able to handle the pain and discomfort of childbearing.
As the Keeper of the Garden, since he didn’t have metal sheds or greenhouses, Adam would never remember where he left his tools.
Apparently, Adam needed someone to blame his troubles on when God caught him hiding in the garden.
As the Bible says, “It is not good for man to be alone!”
When God finished the creation of Adam, He stepped back, scratched His head and said, “I can do much better than that!”
Not sure if these will pass the mod test. Here's hoping. They are shared with goodwill and my belated sense of humour.

PS My son does know which night is garbage night. He is not called Adam.

Thank you for sharing @Appleblossom I could never understand the horror that was your childhood! I really don't have any words atm. Even though I've a survivor or incest and DV, I really can't imagine your past! I know you must have done an incredible job to get to where you are now! I don't always understand what you're talking about (about law and educational stuff) but I care. You are so much more learned than me, but I appreciate that you would be bothered to tag me'. I am really glad that you can now speak out for yourself and your son! Compensation doesn't hurt. 💛
I laughed out loud on the joke about creation 😆💛

Re: Christian Chat
@DownMoreThanUp I am so sorry this confusion has come about. I love reading your posts my dear brother and you have helped renew my spirit so I thank you for that.
Please don't stop posting and witnessing, but is it okay if I get you to ask before you witness? I am trying to explain myself and don't think I am doing it very well.
You remind me of my brother, although he is not a Christian he tries to fix things and sometimes all I want is for someone to listen. So what if I post something and you ask "would you like me to share my thoughts on this?" (I think this is an admirable trait by the way) Does this make sense? I am mindful that I may come off ungrateful and I am truly truly grateful (and a little envious that you have such an amazing way of writing!), I think in this latest instant I just wanted to say that sometimes I wish Jesus would answer my prayers quicker and for just a support.
I really hope I haven't upset you or made you feel bad, that would in turn make me feel awful because I value you and your posts.
