Re: Christian Chat

Hi @Appleblossom ,

I liked the "I don't want to go to church joke" best. I laughed out loud at that one.

Thanks for tagging me in on them.

I had a friend who was brought up in a church orphanage run by nuns. I met her after I had worked in, and been broken from working in, accommodation for children and young people in care. The adrenaline from that world was with me for probably five years after I left. There are no words to capture it. And that's as a worker! I was just walking into that world with the freedom to go home after eight hours. The energy of the children's home would hang over me for about two days after each shift. But I had the most amazing time with the children and young people. Eventually situations with the staff and management led me to leave suddenly and unexpectedly.

What am I trying to say? I don't know. It's only a small glimpse into the world you grew up in. I also have no idea. But I do know the poison in the homes usually came from the staff not the children or young people.

Re: Christian Chat

@ENKELI Thanks for getting back to me. And i'm sorry to about the confusion. i love interacting with you, be supported by you and support you. i'm sorry i do not always get the timing of my message right. i know i love you to break free from your struggles, but that there is a time to speak and a time to listen about that. Jesus showed me last night i was in the wrong timing understanding the situation wrongly, so my good intent did not support but have the opposite effect even. Yesterday i struggled to understand that, but in the end i did begin to see. Two of you feeling grieved by how i presented the truths i had learned where i had tried to help you.

i do not mind the pains of my child births though. In the past i would have been helplessly overcome by bad feeling if something like this would have happened, yet now i bow my head and say please show me Lord how to deal with this for myself so i do not hurt hurting people more sharing what i do.

So yes i agree. It is best to be asked instead of to offer. So lets do it like this between us, and @Appleblossom feels comfortable with this as well. I you would like me to share ask, otherwise i will only share stuff i'm learning and think might be nice ton share, or am doing in my faith life and why, or am going through.

This way hopefully when can avoid these horrible confusing relationship dampers between each other and build on the solid foundation of sharing opur good life with respect and love for each other in our Lord instead of have wrong or painful feelings keep us apart.

This is where i am at. Let me know what you think about that.

i'm trying to learn to get rid of my fix it mentality, but this is so ingrained in me working with people, it dies hard. Most of the time i do not realise i'm doing it, often because i'm looking at the situation very differently than others.

i hope i will learn to get my timing right one day. Thanks for understanding.

Re: Christian Chat

@Appleblossom Thanks a lot sharing some of the pain of your life. Hearing you describe your situation helps me understand why you are the way you are. It saddens me so deeply to hear how others have been hurt badly as well. It can be so hard to fight the demons of our past.

i pray that our Lord turns all the pain into good life inside of you and that the courage you have to overcome and persist you will continue to share with others being who you have turned out to be.

A precious child of God.

i fully relate to merging science and religion however i know in this world both science as well as religion often captivate truths, and that if we adhere to their interpretation of truth we get captivated like they are in their schools of thinking.

Talking about schools of thinking ever heard of 'Quantum Information Panpsychism'? This is a new school of thought developing in science that i find extremely interested in relation to many of the truths we believe from Scripture.

Up to you.

Quantum Information Panpsychism

Have Blessed Rest of this Day.

Re: Christian Chat

wow @Realness thank you for sharing. Thank you for caring and doing the work for the kids you knew. There are some groups around to help now,Vanished and CLAN but for many it was too little too late. I can see my old orphanages on the internet now. Yeah some of the kids act up too and can be difficult. Happy to talk about it from whatever perspective you think is fair. I have 2 families in my little court. One is a lovely couple with a toddler. She used to work for Protective Services but left cos it was too tricky, but she cared. The other lady is a shouty lady, single mother with 3 autistic kids, but I think she aint helping the autism by the degree of shouting. Its tricky. I just work on the relationship with one of the kids who keeps reaching out.

in the end I felt safer in the orphanage even though it was more chaotic and institutional, than the foster homes, as there was less sense of being manipulated or hit behind closed doors. I learned to follow the rules and mostly kept out of trouble. I celebrate the knitting girls, who were about 12-15 and taught me to knit. I was actually pretty young 6-8 and then returned to my parents as an only child, but my younger siblings were in care and the whole connection with the welfare lasted throughout my whole childhood.

Thanks for trying @DownMoreThanUp I will have a look at that video thought I am hardcore science and theology and not very woo ... just leave an open mind ... I am more in symbolism and metaphor than many Christians.

We had a good Carol Service. There were enough good social moments for me to appreciate going.

I got the best Christmas present. The present that money cant buy. A minister and hunted around for me to get a proper harmony edition hymn book. They were out of print, so it took a while, but he persisted and cared. I also told people that I dont do capitalist Christmas. My red and green were from the opshop. lol

thats all we can do.

Hugs @ENKELI @heartathome @holdinghope5

@DownMoreThanUp

Actually was a great video. I loved it. The guy who runs Essentia is from the Netherlands. it always feels good to hear that accent from my family memories. Wooooo...

consciousness is not the particle but the field...

wave function collapsing is quantum

I was joking about bits and bytes and binaries yesterday on another thread.

Classical versus Quantum.... yep... just posted about Kuhn and his Scientific Revolutions on a thread today.

Who created maths? love it

wasnt mad about the opening and the drone...just letting you know I am not a total yes man

So thats the way I like to relax

muchos grazias

Bedankt

I will show it to my physics professor friend on Friday. Sat next to him today in choir at Carol service tonight.

Ontology as quantum

Re: Christian Chat

@Appleblossom Ha great you enjoyed. Also like how your heritage is Dutch, and you even know the language! Harstikke leuk om die taal te zien zo ver van huis!😁

Yes i agree the drone bit was a little bit shaky, as was his God experience lacking when it came to his perspective of the 'holiness' of the Godhead, only describing His loving side and not combining properly with God's Eternal Truth. So i thought he was still a bit out of touch with God's TRUE/FULL reality. (Far too much dark matter in his analysis here. Just like our universe is also mainly formed/shaped by what is not tangible, visible or understood, and drives everything apart, so humanities consciousness is also devoid of the real thing letting light through yet uneffected by The Light, and full of black holes, and chock-a-block full of worm holes when it comes to that 😂)

Also our Lord Jesus, the truth of The Truth's crucifixion holding all of our reality together, was not to be found in his understand of the Quantum Field. Neither do i adhere to limited binary 1, 0, randomness understanding of The Field, for Paul tells us God answers us always YES in Christ. Which i thought was a real pity. (In this part of his analysis you can see how he failed combining God's love (The Cross) with God's truth (Our Heavenly Father, The Quantum Field, shaping all reality.))

i did like his understanding of 'death' though, and i thought we could lay that basically next to Scriptures like Revelation 3:21, or Revelation 21 for that matter. (Seeing you like the symbolism of Scripture, i understand The New Jerusalem coming down from Heaven to be my mind renewed in Christ. (Believers receiving The Mind of God in The Spirit, as Paul talks about 1 Cor 2:12-16) )

Still i was very excited when i heard of it for the first time. Especially how he basically kicked classical panpsychism out of the door focussing on the quantum field instead. (i reckon God tells us the same in Isaiah 55:8-9,) For in my understanding a classical understanding of wave function collapse held on far to much to flesh/matter in its analysis. (The same restriction he saw AI development as having) So he was right on about that.

So true him saying we created maths, rather than 'maths' created our reality. Just like physics, in my opinion, has been so guilty of doing, having physicist like Dawkins writing books about the mind of God, ironically devoid of God's Mind, stuck 'numbering everything the maths idol he was serving', (seeing 666 everywhere) so i loved hearing him do that.😍

So i glad you liked it. And hope more good science will becoming from this train of thought developing in science today. For such is LONG overdue.

(Oh now i got to know you a little better dear sister in Christ. i would like to ask this. Would it help you understanding that when i use the word spirituality in my chats, i either talk about God's Divine Consciousness, or our carnal consciousness, and that i read/understand The Word of God as such? For in no way do i adhere to the religiously witch-crafty hokkus pocus spirituality or carnal reading the Word of God has often has become down here. For it hurt you, me, and us all so very badly.

For i hate religion (Revelation 17:15) taking the concepts of our faith as God had them written, (Revelation 22:18-19) that is why i like using the traditional (religious) wording to describe my ideas in a New Way. As Jesus did for me getting to know Him through The Word, me meeting Him in His Divine Consciousness reading it. (For hopefully then you wont feel bible bashed any longer me using God's Word to make my point clear. For The Living Word is what we need to get the YES from The Divine Consciousness shaping and giving life to all reality. The Great YWHA we meet in, and with Jesus in S(s)pirit.))

Have a blessed day growing in God's truth and love.

(Sorry not supporting your chats the button is on the blink again. @Realness @ENKELI @heartathome @holdinghope5 )

Nee gezellig... with comprehending much dutch....poco un poco...mixing lingos.... lol @DownMoreThanUp I honestly had so many moves... and living in so many different peoples and houses. Which could be a strength... if we dont get confused... lol

my father encouraged mother and i to do dutch... but mother spit the dummy before me...i liked it ... and he was fair...

then she sent to grandparents, who had dutch friends ... so lots of clatter of dutch around ...just for 6 months ... then back to parents... at 10...yep read ... Anna Frank then ... lots of war stories ...but no processing of my experience or dad's experience of orphanage life ... or his institutional sex abuse ...orphanages can also be like WWII labour camps ... when you are 6

mother was never fair ... very "her way" or else... aka ... authoritarian... and meddled in my children's lives pretending she was the perfect virgin Mary ... and had never abandoned us ... which she did to me thrice... let alone her incapacity to stand up for any of us when we were being beaten ... or dealing with sexual abuse ...she made things harder for the whole next generation and specifically my SON carries the biggest burden.

I well understand the problems of imagination, fantasy and religion ...that can lean into mental illness and delusion

yes I forgive her for the war trauma ... the war ... the war ...

but what about what happened herein so-called peacetime ??? sadly it is a war ...a war ... despite my best attempts at inclusion and diplomacy... and love...

ealry in the forum ... someone mentioned I was like a UN diplomat ... one of my piano students, who was also a yoga teacher did so too...

What is your dutch interest?

Will talk on video on another post

AGREED

I cared about maths and science, in the absence of a living father to talk to and a mother who had poor english and too much muddled religion and trauma going on to be at all present for us, though she was alive. It was what I could do, as a good little girl at school. Physics and catechism and church youh group and organ... was my mid teens.

I did a lot of paid work in a lot of fields, including ATO. So I know the difference between money and maths.

Last night, my sign hooked me up on the phone with my niece from my rich but still dead little brother. She is doing her CPA, and we had a joke ... she said I worked for the other side ... when I was in Recovery and Compliance ... lol ...hmmm ... I told her off about shell and shelf companies. We could laugh and she was interested as she didnt have a clue about me. My son has done a weird beautiful destiny thing and tried to bring the cousins together after decades fragmentation after the deaths of my 2 brothers. It is very delicate. I pray it is the work of God.

My poor brother was 4 years and rich brother was 6 months when we went into so called care.

I am going to share the video with my son. His paternal line goes deep into American military eg., Appollo and robotics and IT, (a tad on the overprivileged side) but son walked away from those material and egoistic sciencey excesses and is more about values, ethics, transcendance and the liminal. Will go back to vid ... and keep discussion going.

Its all too big and complicated for me to fathom. I just try and take the next step... which is shop and cook Asian stir fry for dindin.

SO glad we have penetrated the cosmos and worked throuh misunderstandings. Thank you

God Bless you all
