I'm sorry to hear that @DownMoreThanUp even if you had not had a relationship with this person in recent years, and could see that his life had gone down a path that further separated you, I would still imagine that hearing of his passing would bring up some complicated emotions. Like those that you described your sister-in-law feeling - relief and anger and love and confusion, though of course maybe not this same combination or to the same degree.

My thoughts are with you and your family 💚

Hello @DownMoreThanUp I'm sorry to hear the story of your ex-brother-in-law. How sad! I can imagine your sister-in-law feeling quite confused, sad and angry. Normal emotions but they suck.

@heartathome @Ru-bee Thanks friends your support is appreciated. We knew our brother in law was on his way out. Our sister in law tried everything to get him help, for she saw him wasting away every day a little more, but to no avail. We know she wont miss him in his bad self, but she is still struggling with the other side of this person. She, and us as well, have had a lot of good time together as well. No human is 100 percent evil apart of demons. After all we are all God's offspring.

Just got up from a little snooze, couldn't sleep though. Still some pain from my kidney stone yesterday hopefully no more to follow for a bit so it can heal again. My wife is about a hour out of Perth at the moment.Strange to think she is going to be gone for more than 72 hours before i will see her again. i hope and pray she will not have any troubles on her way. Apart of the little chicks chirping in the back ground it is quite here. The sun is shinning the temperature is about 22C.

A lot of acid last night but very little nausea luckily. My mood a little low but feeling stable and confidant all be well.

Life's short.

However refining silver and purifying gold excludes the dross.
Bequeathing you no alternative but dependency on the cross.

God's Word ruminates food for the soul, whosoever you turnout to be.
For Christ's liberty fetches the shackled soul a combination key.
Grab hold of eternal bliss before death catches up with all the lies.
Remember life is short for those who have lost touch with paradise.

So I don't heed the gravediggers wallowing six foot deep in retreat.
Could death preclude us spiritually; as the Lord we'll surely meet?
Or still trusting that your demise has non-being as final victory?
I wager the whole of my existence - JESUS will be awaiting me!

Ponder untrue crucifying true all the time for more time to hurt being truly untrue all the time.The clock runs out of time all the time for all time to be a good time instead of badly timed.

I always worry when my family members who are not saved pass away. I always wish my grandfather had given his life to Jesus before he died so he could be with my grandmother. I don't know why he refused to believe, my grandmother was the epitome of a Christian woman, she was my role model and I have her to thank for my early faith.

I hope you will be okay while your wife is away. Has the kidney stone passed? I am behind the 8 ball with the forums so apologies if you've already answered this.

@ENKELI Yes he was, although fallen low, he confessed his faith shortly before he died.

It is his life in sin that is lost, not his life in the truth, no different than any other person down here. 1 Timothy 4:10

i never worry about any person dying any longer@ENKELI However faith in Jesus is always going to benefit anyone meeting our Creator, life in lies will still burn off His truth. Luckily!😀

Jesus is always on the bottom of a human life. And such is good to know.

I read your What Does Christmas Mean To You poem. I like it. It's a bit like David's Psalms - worldly stuff/struggles at the beginning and then always ending with praise to God. Or in your poem Christmas busyness at the beginning and ending with remembering Jesus.
