Christian Chat

Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

MY GOD

My God's so good, always faithful

His love is a love unknown

He's proved Himself beyond all doubt

His grace to me is shown

His patience goes on when mine is cold

His compassion never ends

His mercy follows me around

His children He defends

He forgives me when I humbly come

And tell Him that I've sinned

My joy, my hurts and angry words

He hears my cry within

He's always there, He never leaves

I can depend on Him

His love can never be ripped away

Even when life is grim

He never changes, my thoughts remain

With Him until the end

To show me just how much He cares

His precious Son, He sent

His justice is fair; it will come to pass

His Word is always true

He heals and guides and leads me to God

He's kind and Holy too

He's gentle yet firm at times

His blessings flow everyday

When life seems to let me down

His Word will lead my way

His beauty surrounds me everywhere

His glory and majesty

He's all around if I look

My God, He's good to me

I could go on till the day I d**

Telling of His great worth

He knows exactly who I am

He knew before my birth

One day my Lord will be revealed

I'll see Him as He is

I live with hope and fear of that

With a reverence that is His

I love my Lord, I hope it shows

From Him, I have much to learn

He guides and blesses me

My heart for him will yearn

That excites my soul within

The path I'm on is lit

I'm heading home as long as I

Never, ever quit!

On another note - and i put all of my spiel about this in a trigger warning - i just read elsewhere that you saw your son. It was then that Jesus reminded me to have a chat with you about what is on my heart to say about this. It has to do with his drug usage, so if you do not feel up to it please just ignore this me. i understand these are sensitive issues nowadays.

EDIT

Please do not feel pressured, no must or do or anything, just me thinking aloud knowing what i know about treating psychosis and evil voices with the very drugs that now wreck him, the same way i have found success.

Peace.

Re: Christian Chat

Good evening @Realness Thank you! All my poems were written thirty years ago, when I was going through therapy. I'm glad I had that outlet! It was my way of processing what I was going through. A lot of them would not be suitable on the forum because they are trauma based! 💛

Re: Christian Chat

No worries. I'm not triggered at all, and I appreciate your concern for my son! He knows Jesus but has chosen to believe in something else. I leave him in God's capable hands!

I don't understand what W means @DownMoreThanUp . He cannot have medicinal smoko (if that's what you meant) as that sends him straight into psychosis. He's okay at the moment and even had a smile for me today.

He only goes into psychosis if he uses drugs. He knows that. He's an addict and I understand that. He doesn't like listening to mum. I told him that I don't want to know about his drug taking. He respects that and it suits me fine. If he does go back into psychosis, and I get a cat (which I'm in the process of doing), someone else is going to have to look after him and I've told him that. He's even encouraging me to get one! 💛

@heartathome Sorry truth may not be told about this. Lies rule down here.

Maybe research it for yourself.

Best find outside Australia information here truth is censored like anything. i though they respected truth in the medical world, but such has been my deepest disappointment with them, truth may not be told.

Have good sleep.

This is one of the psalms i used to pray to Jesus down in my lowest lows and got to know Him there.

Sons of Korah also have an awesome song on this psalm. The memories praying this song in my pit always reminds how much better life has been since i have come to know Jesus as The Living Word within.

Re: Christian Chat

I'm glad you reached out to Jesus in your pit @DownMoreThanUp ! The best thing you could have reached out for in your turmoil!

I couldn't listen to the songs because they were too heavy and sad for first thing in the morning. It's 5:18am 💛

Re: Christian Chat

WHAT DOES CHRISTMAS MEAN TO YOU

What does Christmas mean to you?

Tinsel, balls and bells

Lots of parties; drink with friends

A time to buy, don't tell!

Do you have plans ready?

A holiday with the kids

A tree with plenty of gifts around

That for weeks, you've hid

What do you think when Christmas comes?

A great time of the year

Do you ever think how others feel?

Amid the noise and cheer

Does it mean something else?

Maybe a time you feel alone

A time you buy but can't afford

And sell to get a loan

Do you look around and see

A place that's dull and bare?

Do you often sit and wonder

If anyone really cares?

What do you see around you?

A Christmas card or two

Does anyone call around

To see what they can do?

What does Christmas mean to you?

Do you give the Lord a thought?

Has He remained a babe in arms?

What is it you've been taught?

Our Lord was born to rescue us

We couldn't find a way

Our sin had blocked the only path

Someone had to pay

That little babe, He d*** for us

He d*** upon a tree

Not the tinsel covered thing

That everywhere we see

What does Christmas mean to you?

I wonder how you feel

There is a gift that's there for you

Our Lord, He's very real!

@heartathome Lovely poem @heartathome enjoyed reading it a lot.

@Realness @Appleblossom @ENKELI @tyme @Blackcloud @Ru-bee

We just heard that our (basically ex) brother in law has past away. He and my sister in law split up about two years ago after she found out he was cheating on her and had hid a years old alcohol addiction from her, as well as many other nasty issues between them. Especially my wife spend a lot of time with her sister helping her break free from all the webs of deceit he had woven into their life together, and the emotional abuse he would at times, seemingly for no reason, dump on her.

Anyway he ended up with nothing on the streets and has drunk himself to death living in his car. My sister in law did try to get him into rehab before this happened but this failed, and not entirely because of his fault either. Knowing him for 21 years i'm pretty sure he had hidden issues he refused, or was unable, to talk about, but which constantly had him trying to drown out drinking. (In the past he used to be heavy drug addict but he had left that kind of destructive life well behind.)

It is good to know the wrong in him is gone forever now, and the man we all did like but had disappeared more and more over the last years, is now with the Lord. My wife and me do wonder if we would recognise him in his true self for so much of his life was lies an deceit.

My wife is going to Perth for the next three days today. She was already going to go, for it is her sisters birthday in two days. so now this works for good, and she can comfort her sister who is relieved as well as confused about her feelings. Finding she loved him more than she thought, yet also feeling angry with him for stuffing so much of her life up and now having to end up paying for his funeral, for he basically drank all their money up over the years.

i will be spending the next 3 days on my own. We both hope i will remain stable. We have good hope. For i have hard times but so far doing heaps better than in years past.
