Good morning @Appleblossom I'm so sorry you feel overlooked on here. It's not nice when you're feeling ignored! I hope I've never done that to you before! It may take me a while to answer because I like to think before I reply. I usually go over what I've said a dozen times in my head and then there is the texting and deleting over and over. It's a long process for me! :face_with_rolling_eyes: I'm not the fastest typist either! I take my sleeping meds at 7.30pm so am in bed pretty early but as you can see, I'm up early as well. Are you saying that no one can handle your vulnerability? What does your vulnerability look like? Should I be scared? (that's a joke) You're not a basket case, Appleblossom!! @Appleblossom I have noticed the same thing happen to me on the forums. I think the sad reality is that we are all struggling and sometimes overlook other people and their needs.

The forum has certainly changed since I first joined 3 or so years ago. Back then when I voiced that I was upset about feeling overlooked I was told that the forums were not for making connections and that I should seek offline help if I feel vulnerable.

Now I feel that I am "allowed" to draw closer to other members and it is a good feeling.

I am so sorry that you are feeling neglected, I hope and pray you are feeling better today and I will try and help you feel included.

It can be difficult if I am not tagged in a post, this is definitely not a go at you sweetie, but that could be a reason why people are not picking up on your needs.

Oh @heartathome I didn’t mean you were overlooking me. Sorry if my post seemed to imply that. No way. I have been on the forums a long time and have been grateful for your presence and style of interaction with others and myself. There are a few older forum members who are very loyal and give their support in all sorts of ways and I am grateful for them too. I think I am new at learning to express my feelings and even learning from you and

@ENKELI to be in touch with my feelings and feel safe enough to even say how I feel. I have been in helper, carer and fixit mode, experimenting with asking and communicating in different ways. I hope I didn’t make either of you worried, I reached out more with a sense of trust. Thanks for responding to and respecting me. I guess I get very vulnerable and stretched thin when I share.

@ENKELI I am sorry you were told that about the forums. They seem to be big on advertising it as a place to connect and I try in my way. I guess my story is very loaded and hard for many to relate to. We are all so unique.

I had some good things happen today. I hope it helps give me strength for the difficult things ahead. Eg., I connected with a checkout chic at the supermarket who was also a software engineer in a previous job. She did great customer service and I was joking about the poor computer needing human help.

@Appleblossom, that was good that you connected with the checkout chick. Even small interactions like that always make me feel good too.

I am so glad that I persevered with the forums as I have been able to connect with some wonderful people like you.

@ENKELI (i though i answer you here instead of on the coffee chat thread to prevent issues. i hope you do not mind.)

i can understand why you would feel that people having forced the bible on you, for me it was not force but desperation that drove me for i soon knew i could only trust the truth to get me out of my pit. i had no idea how to do it myself, for at the time i was completely overcome by my own loveless judgement on myself an ill person. So i this is why i read like i did then.

Today i'm like you, for know that any inner force telling me to read the bible is always the devil apart of when i love to read it. For love is the only inner 'Voice' by which i can understand God's Word rightly and it will bless me, even when i have been overcome by my rage or fears, instead of let those ancient words curse me to hell.♨️

Oh Lamb of God!

I know for sure that Your Voice is You!
For The Living Word within is so true!
Right within my soul Your Spirit dwells,
about God's Kingdom within love tells.

Forgiving love is wonderful Alive within
