Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Thanks @Faith-and-Hope, i know, just had this ball of indignant fire rolling around inside. How dare he speak of my Jesus that way. And it wasnt eben me who bought up religion. Sometimes i think just knowing who we are convicts them. I've worked hard @ reconnecting with all my cousins. This one, he & his husband have money, highly educated, extremely articulate... And, unfortunately apparently HE is the one several of my relatives have checked in with as to whether he thinks i'm of sound mind enough to be dad's carer. Hmm. I hate this

stigma thing. AreChristians reallysupose tobe perfect! exempt of illness? really? Arewe really suppose to bite our tongue as often as we do? Not remind ppl of the truth when it rises? And they want us to overlook their, how do i say... inadequaces, alternative choices... as i've worked hard to do for him... but last night he went to the heart of my faith, denegrated my Lord, i just wanna stone him in the street, not really, bit isnt it ironic that the very thing that saves his kind is that which they trash - the teachings of Christ. Yes, i am hoping my being here for my parents, house, pets, home, funerals... in all the little things, i hope it speaks louder than any words for years to come. I'm honoured to represent the love of Christ in this way. Thanks F&H xox

You did the right thing to say you were offended - which is what I would do - you don't have to do any more - just leave him wallow in his idea of education

But it hurts - I know - and as Christians we know we are not perfect and that is why we have our faith -

I'm sorry sis - if I come home with my computer I will get back to you - I hope - so look after yourself

Yes, it’s important to acknowledge the hurt it has caused you @Former-Member .... hence the need to vent for your own well-being, amongst those who appreciate how you feel and how much it hurt you to be treated that way. There has to be a getting over that injury before you can carry on in good grace around that person, and it’s God’s gift of grace that allows us to rise above it all and carry on regardless.

Sorry you had a difficult interaction withyour cousin @Former-Member Perhaps it is part of the problem of the dysfunctional extended family relationships.

@Faith-and-Hope 's reply is great advice. All the other replies are good too. Cant go there at the moment. Too many long term issues for me around the religion//deist/atheist conundrums.
