Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. That is a fantastic work of art - I think I have seen it before on TV pretty sure of that - because I have never had the time to appreciate it before

The woman - Eve - is pregnant - and they still have their fig-leaves - not exactly in the right place - which marks the work of art more brilliant

I am very excited to share this song with all of you this morning, its only 7:59 am. I had Elton Jon songs song- I'm Still Standing- on my heart for over 1 week . I woke up 30 minutes ago, so I went to Youtube, thinking Elton Jons song I'm still standing was going to make me feel positive because I am still standing after all this time picking up the pieces of my life.

Well I found the Elton Jon song, & I enjoyed listening to it & watching the talented sing song writter, preform. I started to feel good about myself, I sang with the lyrics, & I felt strong. I lifted me hangs up to ABBA Father, I gave HIM Praise, I gave ABBA Father all the honour, not talented singer. Then I felt the Spiritual guidance of The Holy Spirit of GOD touch my inner most heart, I was led to what I am posting here below. I am uplifted, I am blessed, I am refeshed, & I am excited, & my hope, & my Spiritual strength is renewed in The LORD & HIS power, & in HIS Strength to do what HE Promises in HIS Word. I know 100% my cry of help is being answered by ABBA Father & that GOD is doing a new thing in my life, even a Miracle of such, as long as I hold on to my Faith in GOD! & NEVER let go, for me & you, & everyone whom believe's in the name of OUR LORD ALMIGHTY! Amen & Amen <><<

Hi @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @outlander @Owlunar @Appleblossom @Former-Member @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @Wanderer, @Shaz51, @Heavenbound, @Jojo2 & everyone i missed... I need to get something off my chest. A conversation with a cousin last night, an AntiChrist, oh the things he said about Christ Jesus, oh my heart was pierced through. And to think how hard i walk on egg shells' in the face of his blatant sin / lifestyle choices (so prominant in the media of late), in a sence challenging myself to RESPECT his Gods, when he dares to trash the only real relationship help that's walked with me through the depths. My comeback was "i find that highly offensive" but there was no apology. Oh boy, i'm not happy. And so how ghly educated. A PhD in MH. Some pple just love the soynd of their own voice. What more can i expect from athieist? Sorry, just needed to vent. How wou you handle this? Should i cut him off? Lightbulb!
Perhaps thats what he wants. Oh how stupid am i, grr

@Former-Member Hon I would do what you have just done ..... vent about it to someone who understands ...... then continue to treat them with polite regard, and refrain from raising religious conversation again in their direction.

Christ gave us free will, and the spiritual law of free will is that it is just that ..... it is their right to choose to do with it as they will, and we can’t do anything about it, other than to fi may stand by what we believe and practice it as well as we can (bearing in mind that we are not perfect). Lead by example. Love is a combination of humility and obedience ...... obedience to what ? Obedience to the laws of Christ as they are written in our hearts by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Your ability to calmly be not-arrogant about your faith, and forgiving and generous in your manner (not words, not preaching or speil) towards them speaks far greater volumes than anything you could ever say ......

Let the Holy Spirit use your example as He wills to reach others ...... you do the “doing” of faith, as you are so wonderfully well in caring for your father the way you are, and worshipping in your new-found nurturing church community.

Say a prayer over your cousin every time you think of them. They are not your responsibility, other than to BE towards them how Christ would be ......

It is very upsetting to be at the receiving end of an outburst when someone attacks our faith. I usually think it is either because they have been hurt by the church and cannot separate those who have harmed in the name of God vs those who seek to live truly Godly lives or because they are lashing out in a somewhat childish way as they have something in their own consciousness that is bothering them.

Someone with a PhD in MH should know of the well documented evidence of the protective benefit of having faith with MI and how it helps with recovery.

In any event, after I get over the initial sting I always ask 'what would God want me to do?'

I always start with praying for the offender and if I have need of any future dealings with them that I will treat them with respect and kindness.

These jibes hurt and when this happens to me I pray that in due course, as the emotional bruising heals, I will be able to forgive so that I can move on without holding onto bitter or angry feelings which have the potential to turn me into a person I do not want to be.
