Feeling just a touch of Divine intervention happening in my life. I was really quite worried about Mr D going away on his own for the first time since his attempt (even though it has been a while - there are other issues at play). I got a phone call the first day he was away from the counselling service I go to on occasion who had no idea of this but had rung in to check to see how I was going and helped to alleviate my fears.

Then, esp in light of what our Lapses is going through, I was sent this saying by Robert Cottrell "Every time we love and include someone we previously judged and excluded, we get a little bit closer to experiencing the fullness of Gods radical love and inclusion for us." It prompted me to get in touch with a family member that I had not seen for ages, mainly due to distance (not that I actively excluded her per se, but am ashamed to say guilty by not speaking out when others told me they had not asked her to things when they could have and for not keeping in touch at times when I could have if I had not been so inward looking with my own problems). She was delighted to hear from me and I am so pleased we have reconnected.

What a wonderful Testimony you have shared. Where the HOLY SPIRIT in you, guided you to do that which is the righteous & a healing choice.
I believe you have been lifted to a new Spiritual level in your life & that your example of showing unconditional love & forgiveness & care, towards your family member has given, The Holy Spirit more power in your family, to bring about & help to for fill GODS perfect plan. You have sown a seed of acceptance & unity, & now you can water it with a new blossoming family fellowship.
I'm nearly crying with happiness here as I type as my family are not Christians & its such a mess at the moment, maybe I may give one of them a phone call, even tho I would need to swallow my pride & just humble myself before the LORD & forgive as they know not what they do! Amen & Amen!

@Former-Member, its interesting reconnecting with lost relatives. Theres a bond rhat stretches across the years. I have initiated reconnections & its taken much forgiveness (as every last one of them failed to show interest in me over the years). If i understand you right, thats the divine intervemtion. My strong faith and MH afmissions has attracted much stigma but boy am i showing them who i am now, with or without their support. I'm pleased to have hound one very strong christian woman among my cousins - what a blessing she has been to my heart. Shes lost her mum too this year.
