Re: Hello
It's hard to wait, especially if you are feeling that panic, but you owe yourself self-respect .... and you will regret it if you throw yourself at him and he runs away.
Feeling for you. Stay steady.

Re: Hello
Can you make a deal with the monkeys @Leglessfrog078 ?
Ten minutes clean up in the mess zone, then an hour at the park, then ten minutes more clean up the mess zone, then take-away for dinner ..... the one who does the most clean-up gets to choose the dinner ?
I’ve got five baby dragons (that’s what monkeys grow into) and making deals with them was the best way to get things done,

Re: Hello
It's so hard to manage little people and the house work/chaos that can come with them.
We have one room that's pretty much theirs to do as they want in. It's their 'playroom' and they share a bedroom. They can take an activity or thing out into the loungeroom/dining room to work on but need to pack it up afterwards, but big mess and chaos goes to the playroom. I wonder if there is an area in your home that you can give them to play in to try and contain it?
This was part of the reply I had written -
As for the house, I'm big on having things organised and can quickly find myself struggling when the house isn't organised. I get that there has to be a bit of give with kids in a house, but something like having two times usual 'stuff' as you said you have now, would really do my head in.
When I start feeling overwhelmed, I find making lists really helpful. Asking myself what I can do right now, what can wait, what has to wait, what is most important, what would help me feel better if I could do, what might need some extra time/resources etc... can kind of clear up some space in my head to start tackling things bit by bit.
Hope there's something helpful in that. @Faith-and-Hope has some great ideas 🙂
Also very cool to hear you enjoy coloured hair and singing/dancing while you're walking around. Me too ☺ And crafty anything is something I enjoy too.
Hope there is something that feels good for you in this evening.

Re: Hello
Hate to say it but we score a huge F
Asked monkeys to help and the reward a trip to the park. They walked around over what need doing, I then pointed the main things to be done. They then sat and watched TV. Realising I wasn't in main area the came to the bedroom and asked for the reward.
