Re: a new set of problems
Hi @MDT
The School of Life
has relationship compatibility articles.
Part of the answer is knowing your own core values and seeing if they align well enough. SO part of it is trusting and knowing yourself ... but not being OTT either way about personal entitlement or sacrifice. Balanced give and take.
I think its fine to think and even over compensate or be confused about beginning a relationship. Its good to do the study stuff but do some homework on you.
I wish I had been able to talk more about it when I was young.

Oh poor @MDT, yes its very true ... the dating game is a tough gig. No, I've not been there in a very long time, but I do still remember how scarey it all was. How wracked with uncertainty it makes you feel.
Just go with what feels right for you. If its meant to, it will all work out.
The way you are feeling, is very very normal, so please try not to let it get you down. Accept it as a given.
Sherry

Ooooooh @MDT I am not letting you get away with those three. .. lol ..![]()
No 1: Most people have lots of things NOTFIGURED OUT yet.
You are not speshial in that way.
The ways you are speshial has the potential to make a great partnership with a speshial someone else.
Its trial and error and risk and thinking through.
No 2: Under 30s thread was and IS a great idea. It also needs time for a few more people to realise it is there and start posting. Also different people will have different pressing needs. Which is why it helps to have more people so that different personalities can contribute. Keep the idea open. ![]()

No 3: A longer time frame might help. Not thinking of things in immediate terms. Give her a bit of slack.

Re: a new set of problems
its been 3 hours since i asked her about it all but still no reply.. and shes been online since then.. but no reply.. i basically said that i was thinking about it and trying to make sense of it all and then said that i thought we needed to hang out more to find outif we were compatible.. then asked her what she thought because she initially asked me about it... i need to be honest with my feelings and her too because i have been led on in the past and it sucked.. but idk if i can wait for another chance in life like this..
the other thing im trying to juggle is the loneliness that i feel.. i cant handle seeing couples and all that.. without feeling crap about myself.. i hate all this atm.. i just wanna tune out of the world

Re: a new set of problems
this is what she said
"I feel like I have fun hanging out with you as a mate. I don’t think we’re really suited to each other. I think that we would work as friends but not more than that."
