Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

I am forcing myself to type this, hoping I've got enough of a phone signal to post.

I have to do something.

I'm really struggling with the basics and have been for a while now.

My only daily achievement has been to drag myself out of bed and onto the couch and back again.

I'm so sick and tired of myself! My self care is non existent and my unkempt "living space" is a constant source of distress to me.

I just don't have the energy to improve the situation.

This is an attempt to distract myself.

Not holding my breath...but fingers crossed.

Posting here as I'm not ready to respond to comments. However, any support will be gratefully received.

Take care and thanks, RedHorse 🌹🐴

Hello Sane

I cannot find peer group chat for tonight.

I thought that I had registered..

My head is mush.

No block of sleep achieved since last thursday

crisis re family member in hospital still affecting me hugely

finally has treating team.

No consistency before this

So subject tonight is about resilience which I have had an abundant supply of to be here now.

Can somebody notice and direct me where.

My headspace; ability to search is currently limited.

Thank you

@Shaz51are you at the chat?

Resilience

Resilience can be a part of many people's recovery journey. However, resilience isn’t always as easy as “you get knocked down, you get back up again”. We hear about resilience all the time, come along to get to the bottom of what it means for you and your mental health.

Join us, in this online Peer Group Chat Thursday 20th January, 7:00 - 8.30pm AEDT.

Thank you @Former-Member

To be noticed, heard and valued is far more important than being timely

Much appreciated.

Will endeavour to go over there now.

No @Sophia1 I am not part of tonights Peer chat. It all moves way to quick for me, and I get left behind. I find the same with the Topic Tuesdays. I really hope you find tonights Resilience peer chat helpful. 😄
