Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Wondering how im going to afford christmas. All my medical treatments have and still continue to drain my savings and bank accounts and its not even over yet. I realised i dont even have an xmas tree. Im so stressed financially, i was going well this year till my foot happened and then when i needed the extra work most people dumped me without anything so im very financially drained now and bills and expenses are pileing up.

Everything is hitting at once and strugglign with the idea of Christmas being so close already. the aloneness is here already but christmas makes it so much more suffocating. there are so many things that are happening and trying to do the 'control what i can control and let go of the rest' stuff but so much of it just hurts. focussing on each day and just the 'next thing' or task or activity or what ever to try and manage but its not living and its only just bearable. so so tired. tried to connect to lifeline but chat is unavailable and then a 'thanks for connecting!' message and I wonder if its just me. tried the text service but same message. not able communicate voice. is so hard.

My 1st Traffic Control Shift turned out to be not 11 hours - was extended to 13 & 1/2 hours long.

I left home at 5.15am this morning- got home after 7.00pm - 14 hours after.

I had to Decline/ Turn Down a 2nd Shift of 12 hours (starting at 6.30am) tomorrow- My body simply cannot handle that.

How do you find the strength to go? Sitting looking at my life and where things are going, I don't see things changing. I just see more complications being added to an already complicated and overwhelming life. I see so many others with mh issues and they aren't getting better either. When is enough enough? Can't be in a place of crisis all the time. That is not living. This is not a life.

Feeling totally gutted and wondering why I’ve even bothered to remain employed. A job I’ve loved has just given me the worst betrayal ever. Lost for words and too numb to go home.

They’ve been ignoring my Tuesday Non-Availability.

Yes they are still 10 to 13 hour long Work Shifts (on average) - No my Body still cannot handle that.

I was sent & Declined 4 different Jobs for tomorrow (Tuesday) – One after the other.

As soon as I declined one, they sent me another one.

I feel Harrassed.

Plus Phone company said they fixed my Phone Line dropping Out repeatedly & No internet (dropping out) this morning.

It took 4 Phone call attempts (from both Landline & Mobile phones) - Each time the Phone Call Disconnected (after waiting on Hold) - Soon after I got to speak to a Phone Co. Technician.

The Modem is probably Faulty, I had been advised.

Yet Phone company said they fixed the issue Electronically, without ever sending any Technician to fix it.

It’s not fixed, it still keeps going off – Disconnecting both Landline Phone + internet at the same time.

7 to 10 times every day, for the past 3 days.
