Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Hey @Former-Member

I know this is the Worry Room thread and no response is required but I just wanted to extend a lot of care and self-compassion to you today, when you have been beating yourself up and feeling broken.

Please look after yourself in this difficult time and reach out for support if needed.

Kindest,

Amour_Et_Psyche

I can't do this anymore nor do I want to. My supports are meant to help but in a time of need I feel abandoned, deserted, rejected. Cast off to the side. Stupid covid. Foolish me thinking things could get better.

The following can kindly p*** off:

- Social media. I'm sick of what it does to people. Why do we have to constantly document things as if they were part of a historical documentary. Just live your life. Quit telling people what you are doing.

- Corportate Culture. Turning everything into a show drains the life out of me. Why do I have to prove myself to people who wouldn't give a squirt of pee if I was on fire.

- Television land. I no longer watch live tv. Life and everything that happens is too complex for a news bulletin. And breakfast t.v. hosts look dull inside.

@Snowie sounds like you are feeling quite alone and isolated at the moment. It takes a lot to reach out when you need it and are feeling rejected.

Covid is proving to be overwhelming and isolating to many people. I wonder if other members are feeling similar in feeling isolated or disconnected from their supports and what has been helpful for them?

Please feel free to contact the SANE Help Centre if you feel your supports are scarce at the moment or reach out to Lifeline or the Suicide Call Back service if you are feeling unsafe.

Take Care and we are thinking of you,

Radius

I am safe...

Feeling the stronger urge just to go away. To not do this life any longer. If this is what is called life.

I saw saw a younger relative of mine in an instagram video. She looked so happy and carefree. She was riding a scooter. She is in her 20's. Why can't I enjoy life like that? She was having so much fun. I cannot remember the last time if at all in my life that I felt like that.

The one person in my life that I sort of felt a connection with. Well I don't anymore. This makes me feel so so sad. Very isolated and very alone. I feel I can no longer be open and share, there seems to be a wall or a blockage of some kind.

I miss her. I miss going on walks with her. I miss doing study with her. I miss walking and her chatting to me about her life whilst showing me her garden. I miss the deep conversations.

I don't know what I am supposed to do with me. My place is a mess, As I cannot be bothered to clean it. It's to overwhelming now.

I thought about it a lot today, I got very close to trying it today. Tonight is not going to be an easy one to get through. I am so tried of feeling this way.
