Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

I feel like I'm going down a path I don't want to go. It's been so hard lately and no matter how hard I try everything crumbles and I end up back at rock bottom. I grew up with a drug addicted mother which basically made me mum to my siblings. Why could I cope back then but have so much trouble now. Basically looked after a household of 8 since I was 12 years old now I look after a household of 3 and I'm struggling. I swore I would never be like my mother and even though I don't do drugs I feel like I'm as worthless as she was

I have my final exam today that's worth 50% of my grade for my genetics course. The imposter syndrome is real, I am surrounded by younger people that are managing life well, that have multiple support networks. I feel like I have a neo red sign over my head flashing out my diagnosis, my history of hospitalisations, my abuse, that I am different and do not belong in the same space they occupy. I have attempted my life so many times before and it feels so silly to be this anxious for one exam but man, when will I begin to feel like I belong to the "normal" world. Feeling trapped in limbo again. Am I ever going to feel "clean"? I feel so freaken silly for trying to aspire to be anything more than a statistic. I know this isn't true, rationally, but it is how I feel and I can't shake it.

Trapped silent again!

You look at me with eyes of confusion and I can not respond with any audible sense.

Thats what my life has come to. A point of no more. Where I can not get any better. I can not live beyond these symptoms. They return ever so feverntly without cease. But my strength is ceasing.

My breath out of control which you have told me so many times to maintain. Well I just can’t.

My thoughts race and the internal status tells me I am wasted.

Help seems of little value when it makes no difference to me.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

I am so tried of this fight, I don't know why I bother anymore. I lose more of myself everyday, I can't beat my demons during the day and it's seems that the moonlight gives them more power over me. How I survived my childhood/teenage years is beyond me, adulthood is a nightmare night and day. Can I please give up now, I don't want this life anymore.

Please know that I am safe, as safe as I can be with 24 hour support person with me. Just my thoughts.

Hey there @Former-Member firstly thank you so much for letting us know you are safe, we are really glad that you are as you matter to us That sense of losing yourself, and tiredness in the fight. That is heavy. Sometimes it seems, when the light is starting to really dim, that's when there is an incredible shift. We believe in you, and we believe the strength and resilience that pushed you through your teen years to the exceptional person you are today. We are all sitting alongside you, you're not alone, and you will get there. It is okay to rest, I hope you do something gentle for yourseld today 💞

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Enough. When is anything I do enough? When I am I ever enough? When is enough enough? The struggle is endless, unceasing, unrelenting. There's always something to beat me down, and tell me 'this isn't enough'. People say I'm amazing, but it's not enough for me. I don't believe them. I've just done whatever needs to be done. Which has never felt enough. There's always mistakes along the way, failures, road blocks that tell me I'm not doing enough, that I never have and never will achieve those things to say it's enough. All these things make me question over and over, is living enough?
