Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

The chemical spraying post that I wrote has an update. I still feel troubled about the chemicals in the air in my house. Properly I wrote from fear that day.

But I no longer feel angry. Only a little fear. Someone pointed it out to me that I should give my hubby credit because he was being protective of us. He did not want us to catch anything from this coronavirus.

So I realised his heart was in the right place. He was trying to protect

I'm on annual leave from Monday (5 weeks) - which at least gives me a small income over the period (minimum hours per week).

They have no work shifts to offer - which is why they approved my leave at such short notice.

My shifts for today (Thursday) & tomorrow (Friday) were both cancelled.

Not sure if there will be work (operating) in 5 weeks time or not.

The past few days have been very rocky, work-wise & otherwise.

Social interaction & a sense of connection is essential to good health & well-being (mine at least).

There is none to have.

Every face-to-face group or activity has been closed.

All social opportunities are gone (for the time being).

I have virtually no phone contacts, certainly not social or supportive contacts.

I'm stumped, "Blindsided" (I think is the term).

I have not seen a human being in several days, except the retail cashier (briefly).

None of this was of my making - I am very social, or value social connections immensely.

There are none to have...
