Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

I've lost hope in all my relationships. There is just no spark in any of my relationships anymore. They've all been about drugs, alcohol or mental illness. Now days i maintain relationships out of necessity and not out of pleasure. It truly is a dark, morbid and sinister situation.

Bloody cant get off the couch now. Tired of spending so much time with myself. Its bad company. Im worried about what friends and family are thinking of me. Im worried about not finishing my course and not finding work because of a history of self saboutage. Wish time would just pause. Wish i had a remote to pause time so i can sleep in peace. Arggggh.

Treating depression with alcohol is like trying to douse a fire with butter. It only creates a bigger mess and explodes in your face. Where's the water!?

I don't want to tell my parents what I really think about next year's plan. I hate the idea of it. I'm not at all motivated to commit to that sort thing for that long. I don't know how to pursue a career in my desired area and study area. I am scared

I think I've blown it. I can't see any way out of my study predicament. I just cannot believe I've wasted all this time and energy on it all. Goodbye University and all my dreams and aspirations. I probably won't get too much sleep tonight.

I miss the old online community that I used to belong to, back when it was "good," back before I stopped belonging.

I miss general threads like this but where replying was intended.

I miss having maybe-slightly-helpful things to say, back before hearing such sadness and deperation burnt me out, before reciprocation became a scarce commodity, before I turned bitter and heartless and red hot from the perceived wrongs.

On one hand I miss the human connection I used to be able to make, even though it was for the briefest of moments in life. But most of all I miss the times before all of it, when my own company was perfectly fine.

Feeling absolutely sick about my counciling sessions this week. We’ve been kind of stuck for a few weeks, not moving along because I’ve been too scared to talk about what happened so we haven’t got any real direction to head to. Have spent the last 4 days writing EVERYTHING down to give to my councillor to read so that he knows exactly what he’s dealing with. It’s taken 4 days and a bottle of wine so far, and there is still so much more to write.

I feel obsolutely sick and completely worthless. The anxiety is extreme at the moment.

My councillor says it will get better, why do I feel this bad if it’s supposed to be getting better. I can’t wait until this week is over.

getting told to 'just continue to use your coping strategies' is not a helpful response. it just makes things worse 😞
