Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

My life's changing so quickly my head's spinning. I'd like to be ignorant just for 24 hrs so my brain can rest. Would love a bunger! But stopped that weeks ago.

It's scary doing new things on my own. Leaving people and routines behind is pulling at my sense of balance. Is it the calm before the storm? Or is it crossing that precipice of trust? Creating a new life is hard...

how could I have been so stupid and cared for someone who uses illegal substances? 10 months on and I have listended to him, supported and encouraged him, only to be lied to and ignored and then verbally and emotionally abused and told that everything that has ever happened is my fault. I have been manipulated, abused, conned and accused of some horrible things. Why did it take me so long to wise up? Why didn't I listen to members of my forum family who warned me about what might happen further down the track? Once again I am in a domestic violence situation. I have been called some nasty names when all I have tried to do is care about someone who has so much potential. I never wanted him to be alone or be homeless or not have emotional support. Just needed to get this off my chest because the last couple of days have been emotionally draining. I have prayed to the higher power asking to be forgiven if I have done anything wrong so am sleeping better and I guess over time will be less hard on myself, Am taking things slowly, one day at a time. Thankyou kind folk for allowing me to vent because there are so many conflicting emotions.....

Put my hand near the trap, testing, teasing, waiting, anticipating one more snap. Like a magnet attracted or simply reacted to the backward contraption of the mind.

Bloody clothes shopping does my head in. I get two sets of xxxl joggers and two sets of xxxl athletic singlets. Plus a pair of flip flops. Thinking they'll be a comfortable and relaxed fit (basedsizing on pair of same brand pants i already have). Get home, try them on and realise they got the elastic around the ankles & they're all tight and clingy. I'm hoping they will stretch. Or i either take them back...

I hate centrelink. Makes me feel terrible. Reminding me of how pathetic I am.

I wish SHing would help me feel less alone. Doing it makes me feel strong in a warped sort of way so I don't relate to most people's experiences with it.

And if anyone was thinking about it don't post or send one of those stupid emails about services to contact. I have no interest in that.

I am really starting to stress about my w@eight. Everytime I look at myself in the mirror I hold up my shirt and die a little bit. Makes me want to sh but I can't .... so I scribble over my arms instead. Words on how desperate I feel. I hate this body that I am in.... I hate my breasts that are now womanly .... I like them non existant .... I just loathe them. Now that I can see myself in the mirror I just loathe it. I don't know what to do or where to go.

My version of sh is to lie down, admit my defeat, self loathe and do nothing about what's bothering me. Just lying here and twitching and moving my feet uncontrollably. While nothing gets done about the problem I'm faced with.
