Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I'm stressing myself sick at the moment. All over a car. My car has been having problems lately. I took it to a mechanic to get repairs, but now something else is wrong. I've had the car for nearly 3 years, and at least twice it has broken down on a major, very busy road. And I'm worried it will happen again.

I've reached a point where I physically can not get into my car and drive it anymore. I really need a new car - this one is costing me way too much to get all fixed up. I can't even get it to a mechanic.

Some people say it could be a minor thing, and others are saying it's a major thing. I don't know. My partner is taking me out today to look at cars. I need something soon, but I'm worried about being able to afford it.

I'm over being a prisoner of psychiatry... I'm over being trapped in the mental health system with no way out... It's a judicial system of the mind... And enough is enough... I'm so annoyed and agitated at the fact that so many professionals (public servants) have not lived up to their obligation to respect my rights and their responsibility toward my rights... They have let me down!... Big time... And now I'm living with the results of their negligence... Not one of them is putting their hand up and saying we're responsible for this!.. Not one of them is allowing themselves to be held accountable!.. It's rubbish!!! Now I. I living with the results... Now I'm suffering on a daily basis because of it... And I'm up against a corrupt system with no one to advocate for me... And no one who is not in the same situation or don't work for the system to care about me... What a joke?

They've destroyed my life... If what the medication has done to me physically is any indication of what it has done to me mentally... It's 100% toxic!!. And no one from society cares about it... Because they all too wrapped up in their own needs and wants... They are sitting there thinking... He got what he deserved... What a joke?..

Resting. In. Peace. Sounds better than being a victim to the mental health system for the rest of my life.

@Former-Member I don't check my emails sorry.. I've come down with congestion (sinus infection) plus I ran out of cigarettes for a day or two and when that happens. (my life stops) meaning bed ridden) I'm feeling backed up into a corner with no options. (meaning, must take injection... Must tend to my addiction or suffer the withdrawals.) and must navigate myself through my daily circumstances which just ain't that great... No amount of moaning and groaning going to change my situation...

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Hi @Shaz51 thanks for your concern... I'm just really frustrated that I'm not getting out and about and doing more of what I want to be doing... Always house bound... Always stuck with the same social options... Not walking in the mornings and afternoon... Getting shafted with my writing... Not in control and not taking charge of my day to day life... And feeling like others are responsible for my suffering... All in all... It seems to be getting worse and not better... And I'm the one who has to deal with it all... I kind of think the world and people in my life feed from it!..

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

I just got a letter from centrelink stating Im on cashless welfare now because of where I live.
So my payment (when eligible again re been working) will go to a company run by billionaire Andrew Twiggy Forrest think I am expected to ring them to get approval for purchases/payments
Apparently the fine print states if I leave here, I can’t get off the scheme? Oh dear
Plus haven’t received a card?
Oh dear
Will be getting $70/week as cash in future
Oh dear

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away

Bad back and knees and legs and shoulders, have been in pain for weeks. Pain really messes with my head and affects my mental health and I get grumpy and sad and feel very insecure. Scared about losing my mobility so have been trying so many different potions and medications...the longer this goes on the scareder I get. I refuse to lose my mobility as walking is my only mode of transportation. Blessed to be working somewhere that I can cut my hours down to 4 days per week - which I'm presently doing - and when my situation changes I can go back to full-time if I like. There is so much goodness in my life, but when I'm in pain my tolerance for anything is minimal, whether it be interacting with people or performing tasks, I just snap at the most minimal thing which wouldn't normally upset me. Sometimes I think it would be better to just shut myself away until the pain goes.
