Re: what a horrible day

@MDT I hear you say you don't care, but I think you do.

If you don't do your exams tommorrow, what is the consequences of that? Could you maybe do a pros and cons list of this.

I don't care very much about myself either, but sometimes I still have to get stuff done of rather not do. So I just do it anyway. I do the best I can in the circumstances, and that's all any of us can do.

I'll be back online in a bit. My phone battery is pretty low and I'm not at home.

I'm sorry too if you feel I'm not being supportive or helpful. Again, I'm doing my best to happen you feel heard. I'm sorry if that's not enough for you

Re: what a horrible day

@MDT I hear that things are still feeling difficult but am happy to hear you are at home and settling a little. You're establishing a plan on how to best support yourself and what you want to get done which sounds great. Let's see if we can add a little self care in there with you doing something for you that you enjoy or brings you joy and I'll be extra smiley

Step by step, moment by moment.

Thinking of you 🙂

Re: what a horrible day

@MDT I'm also glad to hear that not only have you settled, but you're a bit clearer about thinking of other options.

I understand that you are having really difficult times. I finished my degree over 20 years ago, yet I still remember the uncertainty of it all, and how much my life changed in such a short period of time. It was incredibly stressful, overwhelming at time, and I had to relocate for work. And I was in my late 20s; I worked for 10years after finishing Year 11.

I know too how overwhelmed our minds get when we're in a dark place. Nothing seems to go right, everything is difficult and sometimes you want to crawl under the covers and come out when it's all over. And it's hard to hear from some people who want to support and help you, because it's more to think about when you're done with thinking; done with everything.

Take care @MDT
