Your mh does not make you abnormal.
The abyss is there yes, but we just need to face it. And if we can face mh then nothing else compares.

The whole point of therapy is to improve your situation and work towards wellness @outlander. I had a grandma with mi ..... no real support or understanding in her day, just isolation. Now we have diagnoses, meds, respite stays, therapy, support groups ..... it’s a whole new world. And mi’s are being better understood gradually, so there is hope for the future Hon. You are still very young. With skills and experience, you won’t be considering the same things in the same way.
Go gentle on yourself .....
