Yes I agree .. keep posting @Jacques
Did you have to share your bedroom as a lounge ... is that what the problem is? Some people dont realise how others dont have clear private-public demarcations.
If that is the case .. your mum will definitely support a locked area that is yours alone.
Hi @PeppiPatty I love getting messages from you. In many ways I have felt invisible a lot and so it is interesting to get genuine responses of how I come across. I am open to change and working with people, but I guess we can all only change so much.
I was just playing a little Bach ... a cantata and an adagio. I have to play more piano but I stpped when son started taking over studio, slowly I am claiming it back ... maybe cos of childhood I have real difficulties myself with public private distinctions ... a fellow once said that my lounge was a public space. eg I never really had a private loo ... til 11 yo .. as before that shared with old drunks and others in boarding houses, in caravan parks, or with kids in orphanages. It is part of a strength ... that I do like about myself ,, that I have no boundaries or elitism ... but also can be draining ... as I habitually lay myself open to a lot, it seems strange to set boundaries.
The kids in my street broke some more plants which I cleaned up today .. I have decided to have a chat with them .. about the difference between dead bits on plants and live bits and deliberate damage and tell them I feel I need to be bit more quiet with them and less friendly because I feel hurt. I also decided not to replace 3 broken plants for a while ... so they can keep seeing the damage ... a new lady who works as an aid in school has moved in .. and I chatted with it about her as she was witness ... at least .. I feel some support from her. Maybe I dont have to move out ...
I do hope @Mazarita realises her value on the forum and doesnt retreat too far ... that might just be me being selfish .. and tired of getting to know more people and never being able to relax and feel that I know people, and am known by them... enough to have some sense of a social circle.
I am ok ... fragile ... and a bit shakey ... but I am used to that and it might be having a whole pot of coffee this morning ... it will be a bit of an experiment to see ... how much I can handle ... and what is good for me ... it would be nice to have someone to share the coffee with then I wouldnt be greedy and have it all ... @Jacques ??? some virtual coffee ??
cheers ... my Forum Family.
