worried

hello everyone, im not really sure what im after. advice.. support...guidance.....

im a carer for my pop and has had to have a test done that was orginally thought a thyroid problem as hes had those in the past but since then have discovered a lump on his pancreas so hes jsut had one of those ct things where the dyes injected and now just awaiting results. and then he went to the drs today and now they want to do a lung biopsy. hes not too worried about it but im doing enough worrying for both of us and more.

Thanks @Shaz51 much appreciated 💖 ill speak to his gp and see what he says but without my pop there and that way can actually say what i need to without offending my pop

A quick update. Pops had a few tests and tomorrow we find out what the mass is on his pancreas.

I have a feeling my pop doesnt want me to go into the appt room but he doesnt ask questions or anything he just goes along with everything
Am i allowed to go in their with him being his carer?

In answer to your question, if Pop does not give consent, you would not be able to go in due to patient confidentiality.

pop is in the clear! thank god for that! the lump has actually gone from all the scans which is why all the tests- no one could locate it except on that scan but the recent one he had isnt showing either. he has a lump on his lung but they tested that too an its just scar tissue from a case of pneumonia (not recently)

i didnt want to draw attention so walked outside then came back in and when he told me i collapsed on the floor- so much for not drawing attention! guess id been holding alot in but am ok now just tired and so is he thankfully.

he tells his gp on monday- well his gp will already have his results but its all in the clear now
