hello everyone, im not really sure what im after. advice.. support...guidance.....

im a carer for my pop and has had to have a test done that was orginally thought a thyroid problem as hes had those in the past but since then have discovered a lump on his pancreas so hes jsut had one of those ct things where the dyes injected and now just awaiting results. and then he went to the drs today and now they want to do a lung biopsy. hes not too worried about it but im doing enough worrying for both of us and more.

Re: worried

Im not 100% sure if its heartburn that ive got now. Ive never had this until the other day. A day or 2 after i started my new meds
My throat is constantly burning and is abit painful to swallow and more like verping atm. I cant have hot drinks as it burns and its a yuk sensation in my chest and stomach. And its not on and off its a constant feeling but kinda gets worse with every verp. Its gross.
. I took some heartburn stuff but ir doesnt seem to be working and i sleep elevated as well.. I cant get in to see my gp until 5th of feb. Does anyonr have any suggestions on what to do? Has anyone experienced this at all?

Has anyone seen @Appleblossom or @PeppiPatty lately?
F&H are you feeling better? Did the gp find out what was happening?

Re: worried

@outlander .... thanks for asking.

It has been put down to post viral fatigue at the moment as nothing untoward has shown up on the standard tests, but our circumstances point to a stress response as well. They fit the same range of symptoms.

I haven’t seen @Appleblossom or @PeppiPatty for a while. Bit concerned about both of them, but they might just be taking a forum break.

Re: worried

I had to have a quick look at post viral fatigue. Ive never heard of it before but doesn't look to great. Is that from all the stress? Is that what you were talking about with the chemical imbalance? @Faith-and-Hope

I really hope that with abit more tlc from yourself and thosr around you will help you more and help ease your symptoms too ❤ As you said who is looking after the carer? You deserve love and support too so i hope that sooner rather than later things will become abit easier ❤❤

I know @Appleblossom was taking a break but popping in and every now and then but havent seen her for a while. @PeppiPatty takes long breaks too but still worry about them both

Hey @outlander
You are never far from my mind my chicken. Always wondered whether a horse thread in the social pages might be a good one for you.
