Medication

Medication

I was wondering how people feel about their medication regime, or not. Does it cause any challenges?.

I dont want to get into a pro or anti medication discussion ( I think that is a whole different topic) but rather the practical issues confronted each day by needing to be medicated to a regime. Also some people choose not to be medicated so their stories will be interesting as well. I know there are very passionate debates for and against medication but thats not really what I am on about in this thread.

Re: Medication

All and sundry, forgive my levity, I had had a bad day and seeing you posts I took my medication and became a wee bit euphoric and drifted of the subject.

Rick, sometime when I feel weird I am not sure whether it is a downer or an upper so I actually make a decision to say something stupid and once started I cannot stop.

Re: Medication

I've always been one oh Looped One.

My daughter has just left with her mum to go home. I had her for a couple of days and it was lovely. It always is.

But my frickin meds have weird side affects. I get chills even now in the heat. And the dizziness is awful, I lose my balance a lot.

Been hiding it from her so she does'nt worry.

The meds are working on my sui?depression, which is great. Never been suicide thought/ compulsion free before. Not since I was about 8/9 yo. So it's great.

But the side affects suck and the other aspects of my condition are surfacing.

So meds are good, but at a price.

hope...blah blah blah

Rick, everything good always has a price tag. You had a good time with your daughter, just keep thinking about that.
