Here is a passage from Patricia Deegan Conspiracy of Hope

Recovery does not refer to an end result. It does not mean that one is cured nor does it mean that one is simply

stabilised or maintained in the community. Recovery often involves a transformation of the self wherin one both

accepts ones's limitation and discovers a new world of possibilty's-recovery is a way of life. It is an attitude and a way of approaching the day's challenges.

what would be some good clinical terms for 'normal' people? How about 'their royal highnesses, the dukes and duchesses of holy able-ness'? What about 'exulted and superior highly-functioning synaptic starlets'? Perhaps 'the able-brained ruling class'? Gosh, they're so great.

Oh @stan I am sorry to hear that.

How did the doctor's decide you have heart disease. I hope you didnt have a cardiac arrest.

Re: well.

The heart is a muscle, and has/gets electrical impulses through it. I don't know much about it but I suspect that a change of medication to something safe and perhaps some heart muscle exercises and stress-control practices could/should/would improve the state of your heart.

Normal people are very strange. They have a mantra they like to chant: 'have you taken your medication'. they seem to have all sorts of problems socialising with others and 'have you taken your medication' is their opening gambit. after saying that they tend to flounder and go back to talking to each other.

not enough study has been done into normal people yet but it is clear they suffer from medication-envy, for a start.

Re: well.

hi, i have 3 ecg tests, blood, blood pressure, tests etc in the last 2 weeks -my consultant has decided that the medication has caused me heart disease so has reduced from 20mg a day to 10mg a day. the pharma company that developed the med also knew that a major side-effect was heart disease. the shrinks also knew the major side-effect was heart disease. which is why the consultant has reduced from 20 to 10. i am taking legal advice for medical negligence-there is a presadent in the usa that a man taking the same medication prescribed by his shrink also developed heart disease-and sued the pharma company-who knew thew effects of their medication and quickly settled out of court because everyone on this medication is at risk.

yes, everyone should not take this medication-perhaps we should take a class action against the pharma company that knew the dangerous side-effects of the drugs they were dishing out as 'safe' anti -psychotics

Fire your shrink. Get your meds from a gp after an initial consultation with a new (private?) shrink. the shrinks don't care what they prescribe us, generally. we are unimportant people with no credibility as far as the general populace goes, including shrinks. i'd get off those tablets straight away and start implementing strategies to heal your heart - give up smoking, low chol diet, build up exercise levels as appropriate, perhaps look into getting a stent in or something if necessary. lay the law down to your gp, if you can, and get a heart-healing strategy. i hope this information helps you.
