Hi @Bubbles3. I read your post about your appointment and can empathise a lot. I really struggled through an experience with the MH team. I felt so rattled by the process.
I found it so helpful to take a big breath before responding to them. It all seemed so fast and so out of my control sometimes, so me trying to slow it all down by breathing through it (long, slow, deep breaths), really helped. It also helped me to pause just a little more than I usually would before I spoke. I found that trying to do this let me get what I wanted to say out without blowing up (it didn't always work). When I did 'blow up' I felt like my point was missed as the focus shifted to the blowing up bit and not the what I was trying to say part.

Be strong and try not to fight it @Bubbles3 have seen friend dragged off. More resistance worse outcome ie inappropriate meds, longer stays etc just saying
