Today I met son's father at son's house and organised a care package for son. He has it and appreciates it. Lots of driving today, but home for curfew now.

I have to go and do a difficult phone call on something completely different.

Yes, I called the daughter of my best friend, and she has passed but not from Covid, just gently in sleep in palliative care from old age.

Oh my gosh, @Appleblossom ...I am so very sorry for your loss. 😞

Oh gosh, I hope you are OK... I am relieved it was a peaceful passing for your best friend.

She was a good friend for 10 years. The first "girlfriend" I could relax enuff with to have a lot of laughter. We shared love of music singing and both taught piano, and could talk about things, though she was an older generation. Her daughter is also lovely.

@Maggie Calling out for you Bella. I think of this as your thread and am missing your warm and gentle presence.
