Re: Taking the plunge

I had a really challenging day today. I worked with some seriously tough stuff. It was intense and a rollercoaster and I did something I had to do but tried so hard and worked so hard to not need to do. I'm wired and tired and questioning whether I can ever get used to the intensity of this work at times. I wonder if it is experience or whether maybe I am not as tough as I think I am. I wonder if it is possible for me to toughen up without becoming hard and uncaring. Self doubt kicks in and I wonder whether I am kidding myself thinking I am cut out for this.

I am hoping to sleep well tonight and sleep in tomorrow. I will leave coffee with the hope I sleep through ridiculous o'clock ☕

I hope everyone has had a decent day today ♥️

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I don’t know what to say , but I wonder if experience might be the key here.

I will have to think about the toughen up/hard and uncaring part, but off the top of my head, hard and uncaring could never be who I think you are.

Talk to someone in real life who knows you, that’s a way to help put self doubt aside.

Leaving a strong one, hoping you sleep well and truly past the silly hour, and that today, you can relax. Lots of these 💙💙💙💙☕️☕️☕️

@Appleblossom Roasting spuds and fish sounds yummy.

Physio being happy with your work is really good. Well done.

I would like to hear you play the piano. I imagine you play heart kind of stuff.

I hope today is good to you. 💙💙

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Bunniekins Hope bunny is okay 🐰💓 Yeah I like curries too. I know you particularly like Thai food. So will you be making a Thai or an Indian curry today?

@Maggie Any more stones completed? ⭐ Perhaps you had another visit from Mr Christian?

@CheerBear Sorry to hear yesterday was such a difficult day for you 😔 I feel your pain 💓 and hope sleep overnight may have helped to eased your obvious distress. 🌺 Not sure if today is a work day for you, or not. But I really hope you can put aside a small amount of me time within your busy schedule.

Hi also @TheVorticon ... whom I missed in my earlier post. 😄

Re: Taking the plunge

@Bunniekins 🤞🤞🤞 for bunny today. I really hope it goes well. 🐰🐰🐰

Yummy, curry. I hope you have a good time with support worker today. Maybe a walk, if you haven’t already been.

❤️❤️ for today.

@Emelia8 Working on a few stones, but nothing finished yet.

Your marmalade looks lovely. 5 hours cutting up lemons etc, such a lot of work. But the smell would have been divine.

Yes, Mr Christian came yesterday. It all seems so straightforward and simple to him, not to me, unfortunately. But......a work in progress, along with all the other work in progress.

I hope today is good to you. I think you have a psych appointment this week, and an anniversary. Sending 💙💙💙

Re: Taking the plunge

@Emelia8 Thank you I hope bunny is getting better too as he is getting fed up with all the vet visits and becoming a cross bunny :p!. Indian today. I have a base so all I have to do is throw in all the veggies so is super easy for me (I am no cook lol :D). Maybe one day I will do a curry from scratch .... but not this day!:)x

Re: Taking the plunge

@Maggie Thanks Maggie he knows what the carry basket is about and runs away flicking his back feet at me which in bunny language means ' go away I am flicking dirt in your direction':). It is a beautiful day will go for a walk with support worker before thand I think. Hoping your day is wonderful my friend. Love peaxx
