Re: Taking the plunge
Really @TAB ! 👍😃 Are you going to tell me who it was?
My only bit of news is that I made a big batch of yummy marmalade yesterday. Was given a bag full of lemons and a few mandarins. All looks good in jars now. @Maggie @CheerBear @Bunniekins

oh okay @Emelia8 it was Layne Beachly how odd is that
few lemon trees around here laden with fruit, cant find on fb tho, usually get a few bags and some leaves, makes good tea with grated rind esp when freshly picked

Ahh, as in surfer lady Layne @TAB ? Did you accept the fb suggestion?
I like to make fresh lemonade in warmer months. Never tried making tea out of the citrus leaves though. Might try that another time.
When I was a young teenager @Maggie @CheerBear @Bunniekins @NatureLover we lived on a very remote farm with a great orchard. One thing we always had an abundance of every year, was apricots, plums, pears and quinces. I grew up making plum jam, apricot jam, quince jelly and preserved pears in the big jars. All are still my favourites.
I dont eat much marmalade, but my husband likes it.
