@CheerBear this is something I have often pondered. The only conclusion of sorts I have come to is that it's better for me personally to remain soft, even though that means I get hurt more often. I don't know of a way to toughen up and remain soft....if you find out, please let me know, as I would like to do it.
@Emelia8 I so like homemade marmalade - your lemon and mandarin one sounds amazing. My favourite was a homemade grapefruit marmalade that someone gave me...but I'd like to try a lemon one.
@Maggie I hear you about how things are not straightforward and simple (and I agree). I hope your day today has low levels of pain and some happiness in it.

@NatureLover It’s good to see you. I have missed your presence, but in saying that, mean no pressure at all, just that I miss seeing you.
Oh for the simple @NatureLover, I wish for a silver lining, or even a straight kind of line would do, but it’s tricky this life stuff.
I hope the rain has eased in your area, and you can walk among nature, and breath in some peace, even just a moments worth.
Sending 💕💕💕💕
Good morning @TAB. I hope your cough is easing. Tomorrow for results 🤞🤞🤞

Re: Taking the plunge
Thank you for your beautiful warm message, @Maggie 💜 Yes, I haven't felt up to doing as much here lately, a bit more this morning though 👍
Yes, life stuff is tricky...I reckon the older I get, the more I see things as grey, not black and white...there seems to be such complexity and different layers to every issue. In a way seeing the grey is good, as being too black and white can damage others sometimes I reckon...I hope your Mr Christian is a sensitive sort and allows for your complex experiences and the damage done to you. 💔 And I hope along with you for a silver lining for you with the church stuff.

I really like how you phrased this...yes, I hope so too...rain forecast for today and the next 5 days I think...it's a matter of dodging showers.
Thank you again for warming my heart with your message...sending you my warmest hug back. ❤ I was wondering, with the rheumatoid arthritis, are you ever pain-free, or is it constant to varying degrees? And is the pain one of the reasons you don't get much sleep? 💔

Re: Taking the plunge
@NatureLover Hopefully, being around a bit more today, means things are a bit better in your world. 🤞🤞
Never pain free @NatureLover , but definitely the varying degree of it. Most of my lack of sleep is trauma related, but pain doesn’t help either. I have learnt how to rest, that gets me through, but sometimes, lack of sleep really messes with complex mental health issues. It is what it is.
The sun is out here at the moment, but grey clouds are building, showers forecast. I hope you manage to dodge the shower today, if you venture outdoors. ☔️☂️☔️💙💙

Re: Taking the plunge
Thanks, @Maggie ...I'm glad you have a bit of sun there 🙂
I'm sorry that you're never pain-free 😥 You must be very strong, to cope with that. I'm also very sorry to hear that most of your insomnia is from trauma 😥 - which must be very distressing, every night?
Yes, lack of sleep sure doesn't help complex MI... I so wish that would ease for you. 💔
I'm tentatively feeling slightly stronger today...will have to see if that lasts.
