Oh gosh, @Maggie ...that makes it even more heartbreaking that you were rejected again 😞
@Maggie wrote:I too saw it as Gods rejection, but have sorted that one out, sometimes anyway.
I'm glad you have sorted that one out, at least sometimes. I don't want to ever go back to the church. I still believe in God, but no longer follow. It means you were even more brave and humble to try a second time...
Wishing you much healing and peace, Maggie. ![]()

Yes, it came through @NatureLover. Yes, I think I’m there also now. No more church. 💕💕

Re: Taking the plunge
I have a plan on how to fix things with my psych. If I just show him positive stuff and tell him a couple of funny stories, then he might like me more. Then I'll be able to stop feeling upset about him not liking me, and I won't have to leave.

Re: Taking the plunge
@TheVorticon I’m trying really hard not to say this, but you aren’t there to entertain your psych. Could you be misinterpreting him not liking you ? He obviously means a lot to you, but it’s realy stressful for you.
I’m sorry if I’ve made, or am making things worse. Please let me know if I am, and I will stop. Sending some 💙💙
Dropping off a coffee @CheerBear if you are up. A bubble tea for @TheVorticon and coffee/tea for anyone else passing @NatureLover @Former-Member @eth @Gazza75

Re: Taking the plunge
No you're not making things worse @Maggie. I know I'm not meant to be entertaining him, I'm there to get my needs met for healing and support. But one of those needs is for him to like me as a person and so I'm going to have to adapt if I want that one to be met. I feel a lot calmer knowing that there's something I can do to fix it.
Thanks for the bubble tea 🙂 It's a pineapple flavoured milk tea, with bubbles of course, so it's a bright yellow colour. This was the first flavour I ever had, even though its not one of the standard flavours.

@TheVorticon Thanks for explaining. I understand where you’re coming from , and yes, we all need to be liked as a person. I’m glad you feel calmer, you’ve put a lot of thought into this.
Bright yellow bubble tea ☕️☕️💛💛

I feel not right thumb-upping that post of yours but not saying that it's sending support, not liking it @TheVorticon. Plans help me and I'm glad to hear that you're feeling calmer. When do you see him again?
Morning @Maggie ❤ Thanks for the cuppa 😊 What colour is your world this morning? And how was your yesterday?

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear Not sure of the colour here yet, but I will definitely have to spend some time today at the kitchen sink. Out of dishes, so the choice is made for me. That was easy. 😀😀
Yesterday was a non event. It kind of happened around me I think. Coffee, back to bed, repeat, repeat. I will kick ass today I think.
How was your yesterday ? Sewing ?
More of the same today, if that was how you spent yesterday, or other plans maybe. ?

Re: Taking the plunge
We sewed lots yesterday. I finished the blocks for Middle's quilt then started on mine with the colourful fabric. Big worked on hers into the night. I went to bed with her still up at the table with the machine and some music, the happiest I've seen her for a while. I woke this morning to see a finished quilt top 😍 Now we both have to choose backing, binding and inside bit (wadding?) and order online. She told me she was proud of it and will have it as a keepsake and reminder of this bonkers time for a long time. I thought that was really cool.
Middle, Little and I played Pass the Pigs. Do you know that one? They made a proposal that if they could play 7 games nicely together I would buy them a giant inflatable version 🤣

Hi @CheerBear.
I get why it possibly doesn't sound great or "like"-able but I really think it will help.
I see him again in 2 weeks.
