Wow! 30 years in New Zealand @Maggie

North or South Island? I've only been to South Island.
Hoping to feel like I could cope with another trip some day. 🥰

Re: Taking the plunge

South Island @Former-Member all the main cities. A short stay on the north island. It’s a beautiful country, not too big.

I hope you manage another holiday over there. I still have contacts there, but it’s a long way away really.

I hope you have managed a shower if that’s how your day is looking, or a restful Sunday, a pj day, always good in my opinion.

Yep, at Bunnings at 8am as they opened, before the crowds. I won’t be doing much more , I’m done physically now. But it’s a good feeling. I have mulch on my front garden where I grow some veggies. And a bird protective net , to keep the gardeners off. 😂😂😂

Re: Taking the plunge

You've done well @Maggie No wonder you're tired.
I get too anxious in Bunnings. Food shopping is enough for me. So strange how I get anxious as soon as I enter the supermarket.
Yes, had shower, washing done. Lunch, then chauffeur time.
Then hopefully switch off watching a show. Hmm 🤔 Unless I get caught up doing other things. Trying not to.

Leaving New Zealand 🇳🇿 ❤️ @Maggie

Re: Taking the plunge

Oh wow, that’s a beautiful pic. A trip down memory lane. How long is it since you were there @Former-Member ?

I had to psych myself up for the Bunnings trip. That’s partly why I was there early, not many people. I can’t do groceries, I get mine delivered. It’s hard how stress makes the supposedly normal things so hard to do.

Well done on the shower. 👍👍Now to the taxi driving.🚕🚕 I hope it’s not too busy on the road today. Take care where you can. 🥰🥰

I visited NZ in 2018 @Maggie

Heading out again for pickup time. Ugh 😩

It was busy today, anxiety plus. Oh well. Have to do what's necessary. Aching from stress all week.
Looking forward to another hot shower and bed.

Have a relaxing evening. ☕️🥰

Oh and I'll post a pic of the rainbow I saw today.

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member Sorry it’s been a stressful week.

I hope the hot shower last night worked, and you are sleeping soundly now.

Thats a lovely rainbow. Sometimes it’s the small things that really matter.

Hoping today is ok enough for you. 🥰🥰

@CheerBear Good to see you. 💙💙

I had a very busy day yesterday. Productive. 👍👍👍

How are you travelling ?

Re: Taking the plunge

What did you get up to yesterday @Maggie?

I'm not travelling super well. Lots of 🙁 stuff happening. The bug isn't making it easier. Watching people turn on each other so viciously makes me feel really sad.

Mr Person left. He's decided to go 4 hours away to stay with family and plans for that to be the case ongoing. He plans to leave his house and quit his job, and packed up ready to move. It got so bad there. I feel relieved in a way as family will help, but sad that it happened.

My sewing machine arrived which was one huge yay, so we've been sewing lots. I think we've made around 40 masks now 🙂 Fabric for my quilt is on its way which I'm so looking forward to.
