Re: Taking the plunge

I’m really sorry about Mr Person @CheerBear 💙💙💙 That’s a really hard thing to deal with. At least he is with family, Plus the bug, which ,in itself, is huge. I watch each day , but it’s getting worse, not better.

I’m pleased your sewing machine arrived, and materials. Something positive,in the sads. 💙💙 There are some amazing masks showing up. They are a fashion item...almost.

My yesterday started with hanging washing on the line. Then umming and ahhing about going to Bunnings. I was there at 8am, opening time. Got most of what I needed. Then planted some silver beet and spinach. Then put mulch down.

Had coffee and decided to put my net curtains up in the kitchen. Tricky with hands that don’t work too well. But, colourful words, bangs and oopsies ....they are up. Everything ached then , and still does, but a quiet day today. 😂😂

Re: Taking the plunge

Thank you for listening @Maggie. He said something pretty ouch, along the lines of me not picking up on hints or caring about his loneliness being too big. I picked up on it and I cared with everything I had. My hands were tied there, with a family and a house to run, a job, home-school, restrictions, and ultimately, his loneliness is not my responsibility. We talked it through but it stuck and stings. I hope time away helps him get through this patch, and with time he'll get back to some kind of OK-ness.

The bug sucks but the different masks are cool to see. People everywhere being creative and colourful. Its a spark of light in the darkness. I sent more to well and unwell ones. Some light ones for well one to go dog walking in. There are no people anywhere near where they walk so light cotton ones will do. They're super fun fabrics and combos of patterns 🙂 I've been sent pictures of people wearing the ones we've made and sent, which feels good inside.

You had a mega day yesterday! What brought that all on? Sometimes a bit of momentum can do amazing things, so maybe it was a bit of that 🤔 Are you enjoying the feeling of having done it all, aches and pains aside?

Quiet day today sounds like a great idea ❤

@CheerBear Maybe Mr Person needs to grow up some. Not being mean there at all, but ...hello. You have mega stuff to deal with, not to mention your own mental health.

I hope he gets through this also @CheerBear , I hope you get through it also. It’s a tough place for you, and a loss, so try to be kind to you, hopefully, the stings will ease. 💙💙💙💙💙

Pucs of people wearing your hand made masks would be awesome. 😷😷😷. And some feel good mixed in there.

I’ve been trying to get myself to Bunnings since the restrictions eased here, about 3-4 weeks. So I literally pushed myself out the door yesterday. 😂😂😂

My little flat is starting to look like someone lives here now @CheerBear , and YES, I am enjoying it. 👍👍

How is today looking for you ? Are the acres up yet?

@CheerBear Don’t you always love spotting that spelling mistake, straight after you press post. 😂😂. Acres = Crew.

Re: Taking the plunge

😂 I love the keyboard fairies @Maggie, especially as we can be creative with our words anyway 😆. They take it to the next level!

Yep crew are up and at 'em (the littler ones are, Big not far from rising). They've been schooling since about 6. I find it funny to watch them keen to get the school day over and done with. Littler ones start video conferencing today which will be interesting, especially while I will be busy and therefore can't really help them 😏 Fingers crossed.

So, so happy to hear the flat is looking, and I imagine feeling, as homely as it is. And extra happy you are enjoying your work there. Its a big deal to have made it to this place ❤❤❤

I have work today and I am not really looking forward to it. I have to face the big hiccup I had last week, today. I feel crashed down a bit and like I have no idea what I am doing. That was always going to happen I think. I'll keep on keeping on though, and will learn from it all.

I better run. Lots to organise before the day really gets going. Thank you lots of listening and caring. Mega huge ❤
