Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear That does sound full on.

Sorry to hear MR Friend is finding things so tough. I imagine it brings personal stuff to the surface again for you. Tricky. More support there will take some pressure off you, hopefully.

Life is hard @CheerBear , it really is.

Yesterday here was tricky. Working through this messy stuff gets dark and twisted. Counsellor this morning, some unraveling, or more mess for a while. Things cut deep.

Life can be so hard @Maggie 🙁

I'm really sorry your yesterday was tricky. I was hoping you'd get a break from it, though I know breaks don't come easily of often. How are you feeling about seeing counsellor today? Have you heard anything from church, aside from the silence?

Re: Taking the plunge

The silence is deafening @CheerBear, but says everything I suspected. It’s rocked me more than I thought it would.

I was going to cancel counsellor today, it’s hard not to put everyone in the same basket, even though experience is different. My black world gets tricky.

It will pass. I hope to have learnt something. I just wish I didn’t need these lessons, or at least, not this many, or the repeat version. I can be very slow on the uptake. 😢😢

How are things looking for Mr friend today ? How are you coping ? Do you have an appointment today ? Questions questions. 🥺🥺

@NatureLover Thanks for your reply. I’m hoping the new meds work also.

Im glad the pic brought a smile to your face. 😂😂

I hope you are doing ok yourself. Take care. 💞💞

Re: Taking the plunge

That silence is the worst @Maggie. It can say so much, and brains don't like that place of quiet. It fuels dark and twisty sometimes.

I understand how hard it is to not put everyone in the same basket. It's like a thick cloud and you can't see through it to find any light. It's also super hard to have the additional layer that turns in inwards. Feeling like you should have known etc. 🙁 I hear you and am sitting with you.

The last chat I had with Mr Friend, late last night after his call from psych triage, he seemed to be doing better, or at least seemed more likely to get through to today. I was really concerned early. Lots of symptoms that have escalated and changed, big life change recently, hope taken away, major protective factor gone, increased isolation because of the bug. Talk of being a burden, hopelessness, helplessness, no value or worth. I was worried. I have struggled a lot with it over the last few weeks but really appreciated the breakthrough "I need help" moment last night. It allowed me to help put things in place that will support him and as a result, help me. Just thinking that way feels selfish, but he needed more than me. I am coping better this week than last 🙂

I have my psych today which I am ultra thankful for. We've spent about a bazillion hours unpacking the additional mess triage and CATT have caused for me over the years, so he'll know without me needing to say much, what that meant to reach for them last night.

I had a look at the nail foil on stones. Oh my! They look amazing, especially with the resin over the top. When are you hoping your supplies will arrive?

Re: Taking the plunge

Some huge things happening for you at the moment @CheerBear. Positive and not very positive.

I can see how all this would escalate for Mr person. So much has happened, and is happening, all of it really tricky stuff. Breakthroughs are a relief, on many levels, and for many people. It’s good you are not doing this on your own now. You need support also. So sorry it’s to tough, life sucks. But I could be more colourful with a word or two there. 😁😁

Thank goodness you have psych. That you don’t have to try to explain the previous mess, someone who knows and understands. Yea for psych. 👍👍

Try to be kind with yourself. Though self care is a tricky subject for me personally, I value it for others. Remember some Bear time. 🐻🐻

Yes to the silence being the worst @CheerBear . Thankyou for hearing, for sitting with me. It means so much.💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge

Haha I could be more colourful with words too @Maggie. I have somewhat colourful language as my normal. Lots of practice at having to tone it down in some places and for some people. I always feel relieved when I meet a similarly coloured language person 😁

I'm in a really good place so I feel like I am coping with these big things, at least better than I maybe would have/used to. My secret is that I am completely terrified it can't last or won't last. I get that it's wonky and expect that, but if wonks turn into crashes it would be huge. This place is new for me and unfamiliar. Sometimes familiar feels easier maybe. Unfamiliar is scary as heck. I don't want to lose it all again but I am trying so hard to not let that fear stop me. Sheesh. No matter where we are it seems tough! Thanks for listening, and for sharing where you are too ❤

I have some admin I was meant to do last night but didn't get to so I am going to tuck myself away in my office/bedroom/2nd lounge room and knock it over so I can not think about it for the rest of the day. Will drop coffee as I go by. I hope counsellor goes well today.

Mega ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I can hear the scary stuff. The fear of losing it all again. Yes, unfamiliar is scary as $#&#@$ heck. You have gone this far, you can go the distance. Mr person sounds like a kind and caring Mr, but he has some ( stuff) , I don’t like the word baggage, it suggests to me, inferior, and no one is inferior in my opinion, just hurt, trying to heal. Sheesh is a good way of putting it.

I hope your admin stuff is going ok. My meeting with counsellor was just what I needed. I’m glad I didn’t cancel. We have talked, and talked, and will talk some more. I felt a huge weight lifted. I know I will grab it back, but gradually, I will let it go.

Plus, this is humongous, it’s hugely big and over the top and soooooo NOT me. I have entered a piece of my art in a compilation. Only the ones that get to the short list go on display. I’m not expecting to get that far. For now, entering is reward enough. And BIG.

Mega ❤️❤️ Back.
