Re: Taking the plunge
@eth Starting with a new psychologist is a big thing. I know you had no choice, which is really hard. I hope this one is a good fit, and sticks around for a good while, and longer.
You might be finished your housing application by now. I hope this time, it all went through ok.
Couldn’t we all go on and on about the exes and the aftermath. As far as getting over it goes, we all wish. But you only know this side of the experience, having lived through the hell, unfortunately. So good to be with others who really get this stuff deep down inside, though I would never wish this journey on anyone, no one would.
Sending lots of 💙💙💙💙💙

How did counsellor go yesterday?
Do you have any ideas or hopes about how you'll spend the day today?

Re: Taking the plunge
A bit tricky with counsellor yesterday @CheerBear. The teddy bears arrived about half an hour before she came. It’s a bit weird, as they are only stuffed toys, there’s just a but there. Then we went to the chemist to get meds, and I wasn’t up to much talk.
She has a laptop for me. All a bit big for me to handle. They were given funding to provide hardware for clients. I’m all thingie about accepting such a huge ....gift.....for nothing. Very strange person at the end of the iPad @CheerBear
Today will be a quiet one. Just a bit of housework, not much.
I hope Big is feeling better today.
Do you have plans?

Re: Taking the plunge
Hugs. That is a lot 🙁
Our plans will depend on whether Big is better I think. Everyone wants to go and see the chickens (except me - I could happily pass on that this weekend) but if Big is still unwell they won't be going anywhere. I have lots of housework to do. I would really like to rearrange my room and turn it into a more practical work space for myself now I don't need it to be a kids workspace too. Washing, groceries... the never ending stuff :face_with_rolling_eyes:

Re: Taking the plunge
They are in the lounge @CheerBear ...the bears....to weird to try to explain. I’ll take a pic sometime, and post them so you can see. Peter rabbit is lovely and soft.
, but still a bear. 😜😜😜
The laptop will grow on me I think. Counsellor is sorting out data stuff also. Very big for a little mind. I’m overwhelmed with technology at the basic level, this is up notching for me. I will get there....in time. I keep saying....someone else would get more use, it’s a waste on me, but anyway, I sound ungrateful, which I’m not, more overwhelmed by it I think.
A work stave for you would be good @CheerBear . Home schooling stuff no longer needed. Are you all adjusting to be back?
Yes, housework. And shopping, that’s enough. If you go to see the chicken ‘s, will you manage to rest,,or is it full on.?
