Re: Taking the plunge
Maybe it was/is a bit of a 'freeze'. I really wanted to talk about it with my counsellor but I am in training again today so I'll have to reschedule. I've had to work hard to accept that until the crew are physically and emotionally strong enough to defend themselves and be safe, I will always live with the idea that any life we have made could be taken away in an instant. For all the bad stuff that lead to it, the experience of life as I knew it being there one minute and gone the next is at the core of my muddle I guess. Any contact or even thought of him is a reminder of that. Thank you for listening.
I made sense of your post and hear and see and feel the jumble. It's tough when you try to straighten things but the more you do the more they become wonky. Sometimes rolling with the wonky is the less muddling option but it can feel tough. Like you don't want wonky at all and want to do what you can to make it better. The inside and outside bounce off each other and impact both ways. 🤪😔:face_with_rolling_eyes:🤯🙁

@CheerBear Yes, deep down, our experiences are alive and well. I hear how much the Crew mean to you. Their safety etc. you have faced what you never should have needed to face. But the pain and fear is there.
I think a good airing with your counsellor might ease the unrest that has happened. I hope you can talk with her/him soon. Always listening @CheerBear and caring, and wishing things were different. 💜💜💜
I know I overthink everything. I get a little strange, then see it from another perspective, then it’s, here we go again. Counsellor tells me I think/live on a deeper level than most. Just to add to the muddle. I can tell when I’ve said something that the other person hasn’t understand irl. That blank look says so much. But sometimes it’s also funny, in a twisted way. 😀😀😀

Re: Taking the plunge
Hi and good morning @CheerBear @Maggie @Former-Member hope today has started gently for you all.
@CheerBear you're probably in the midst of morning business with your kids back at school and work to prepare for - have a smooth day if I've missed you. Hearing you loud and clear about all the feels that come when you or someone you're close to runs into the ex who caused so much trauma. I've been there, but my one child was older than your big I think. Alarm on so many levels, I'm pretty sure I get it. I still have periods where I get PTSD dreams that can be triggered just by seeing a certain type of guy even when out shopping. And when those nights happen I 'jump start' several times through the night - standing up, heart racing, ready to run all before I even know I'm awake. Feeling you.
@Maggie hope the muddles and puddles start to evaporate today and you find some nice moments along the way.
@Former-Member hope you're having a peaceful time. Think of you often with care.
xoxo to all

Re: Taking the plunge
My counsellor can reschedule for after training today 🎉 Super thankful.
It's tricky to live in ways that don't quite match others @Maggie. The blank look would be hard. Make you feel out of place at times I imagine. But if you can see it with a bit of a giggle or maybe some curiosity that can help sometimes I think. Big love.
@eththanks for listening and sharing. I am in the middle of the morning rush, though busy painting nails so I should probably get a move on.
Hope today has some good in it for you all ❤
