Re: Taking the plunge

Morning everyone 👋

Spotlight was so fun! And we went to Lincraft also which was even more fun. I picked up what Big needs for their cross stitch and Middle went on a slime ingredient collecting mission while on the phone to Little. Very sweet. Groceries after then a little cleaning up and a yummy new potato and chickpea curry for dinner. It was a pretty good day here.

Did you do any crafty or nice quiet anythings in your not doing a lot day yesterday?

Today will be some more housework and some cross stitch for me. How is your day looking?

Spotlight and lincraft sound like fun @CheerBear . Looks like slime might be happening in your house today, or has it already happened.

I like the sound of chickpea and potato curry. I might check out the recipe in case I get inspired. Miracles still happen, so they say. 😁😁😁

I watched some chain pulling painting yesterday @CheerBear. Very effective and simple. Nice to watch if nothing else.

I might try + stitch myself today. I really need to find my kitchen, seriously missing atm.😩😩

Re: Taking the plunge

They did slime as soon as we arrived home @Maggie but will do more today too I'm sure. They're using air dry clay in with the glue and the activator (borax) to make a creamy feeling 'butter' slime. It's my favourite as it doesn't stick to your hands or go gooey 😁

Here's the recipe for the curry https://www.olivemagazine.com/recipes/vegan/spinach-chickpea-potato-curry/ I didn't add the chilli because I wanted the littler two to try. Big and I needed the kick but it was nice without it too. Annoying to even think of food with a missing kitchen though :face_with_rolling_eyes: We have a missing laundry at the moment. I will definitely have to get on to that today.

Chain pulling painting sounds fun. Do you think you'll have a go? I saw string pulling painting recently. So nice to watch that stuff, I agree.

Morning @Former-Member. Lovely to see you. How is your day looking?

Re: Taking the plunge

That looks easy enough @CheerBear , the recipe. Definitely on my to do list.

I had a feeling slime would have happened yesterday. It looks like fun, but I had an experience with kids doing yukky kid stuff with it. Kids will be kids.

I think string and chain pulling are the same. I’m really getting simple kind of ideas for working with the kids, when/if it happens. Some may not like dotting, just over preparing. 😩😩😊😊

Wet and very windy here today. Not good for washing. Hope you have better weather there.

Spacex liftoff. Can you imagine the view. Out of this world, literally.

Yay to non gooey slime @CheerBear

Hi @Maggie hope you find that kitchen of yours today. CBs curry recipe sounds yummy.

Got a bad headache this morning, which is now making me feel nauseous. Felt it coming on last night, but only got worse overnight.

Taken something for it, but ineffective so far. Might be a quiet day. Wish I could stay in bed.
