Fly-by hello to everyone .... 👋💕

Boil potatoes in stock of your choice with another veggie - mushrooms, broccoli, peas, corn, carrot, cauliflower, parsnip for example ..... then add a couple of spoons yogurt, cream, creme fraise or milk of some kind including almond or coconut milk, and blitz ..... salt, pepper, herb if your choice ...... magic soup ❣️

Re: Taking the plunge

Quick hi 👋

I've had a huge and really fun day. There is SO much to learn and get my head around but I think it will be fine with some settling in time. Without saying too much it's kind of a management-ish role so there are lots of processes and policies to go through, and bits to the work I haven't done or seen before. Lots of stuff in it that I feel like I'll be very comfortable with with some time and I was given some beautiful feedback from my supervisor about why they think I'll do well in this role. I can't wait to get started.

I'm tired and it was a lot to take in. The crew were pretty awesome throughout the day though. It was video conference all day so the person I was learning from 'met' a couple as well as a couple of furballs who joined in too (one Rocket cat who tends to join in whenever I'm in a video call 😜). Where I am is very understanding and reassuring about the tricky that comes with working from home with kids (and furballs) which helps lots.

Daal is on and smelling really good. I'm going to head to the bath after dinner (me making an effort to do the self-care thing tonight) then an early night I think 😴

Hope it's been a day with some good in it for everyone ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

What a day you have had @CheerBear but I know you are more than capable to undertake this role, and obviously your employer feels the same. So nice of them to give you such lovely feedback. I love the fact that the crew and kitties got in on the video conferencing. I hope you enjoyed your soothing bath.

Re: Taking the plunge

Y'all are awesome, thank you ❤😊

Morning @Maggie and any early birds around. My sleep is awful at the moment Maggie but at least it is 5 something not 4 something today. I have one of those headaches I've been getting. Coffee definitely needed.

How are you going this morning? How was your yesterday?
