Re: Taking the plunge

No library book chewing @Maggie but still an early wake up call before 4am. I made him wait until 4:30am and now he's quite satisfied sleeping on the bed. Not a great night's sleep again either, but I don't have a busy day, so I can play catch up a little.

Re: Taking the plunge

I will remember soup if there is a next time @Former-Member . Don’t think so though.

All those mood swings from hubby are difficult @Former-Member. It most certainly does seem never ending, I can only imagine the exhaustion you are feeling. You are up , late, early, always it seems. Hearing you, and feeling with you. 💚💚💚

A little catch up today will be good @Sans911 . I’m glad his majesty is sleeping 💤 . Nice for some. My girl is sleeping also.

Re: Taking the plunge

They are the only one I know of with those benefits too @Maggie. Thank you for understanding and reminding me I can choose how to see it. I am so glad and willing to help, but not be taken for granted/taken advantage of (not that that's what's happening but it's hard not to let volcano head feel that way sometimes). On top of not being able to leave the house at all, I start work today. That is so huge for me. I could have used some support or at least consideration or thought.

I am really, really sorry for the "who do you think you are-s". I think you are amazing. You are so wise, kind, insightful, caring, responsible and giving. I wish you could see you the way I do. I know how hard it is to have people say something about you that you don't feel yourself and don't want to add to tricky there though.

I am lol-ing with the potatoes. Nope, not something I'd be excited about doing either 😆 That would have taken ages and been hard on those hands of yours. I really hope the chips were yum! They'd want to be.

Far out @Former-Member. You really don't need anything adding to the difficulty with his moods. I wish I could scoop you up and take you out of there. Grrr for you. You deserve so much better.

I hope you can get some rest today @Sans911. Oh to be a cat and do whatever the heck you feel like doing :face_with_rolling_eyes:

Hey @Maggie

5 kg huh!

Think the soup is easier in some ways dont need to slice them as fine as chips. Its one of our faves. I add bacon sometimes. Maybe do 50- 50.

Re: Taking the plunge

Thanks @CheerBear . I so value you words, your thoughts and appreciation of me. I think we are all , to a lesser or greater degree, like it. So hard to find good in ourselves, but easy to find in most others.

Oh the chips were a nightmare. Like dropping a box of cotton buts that multiple, and never fit what they fell out of. I’ll let you know what they taste like.😂😂😂

I hoped for consideration from sib, today especially. I hear how huge today is for you. Go gentle with you today @CheerBear

Never again @Appleblossom . Soup it is from now on.

Missing the zoo. 💚💚💚 Are restrictions easing where you are?

Re: Taking the plunge

Thank you @Maggie, lots. It's been an absolute circus here for the last couple of hours (of course it has, why would I expect anything else :face_with_rolling_eyes:). I have been flipping out trying to make sure everything is as organised as it can be so it runs as smoothly as it can, and it just has not been working. Even the furballs are taking it to the next level. Everyone is settled and has started their school day now though. Shared tech is sorted, they know what's in the cupboards and fridge to eat throughout the day, and the house is sparkling clean and tidy (which it totally didn't need to be but banana brain tells me it needs it to be 🍌🤪). All I have to do is find somewhere to set myself up where I am able to see any hiccups before they turn into meltdowns, but where there is still a bit of space and some quiet to focus.

I'm anxious but excited. I desperately want this to work out and to be able to do it but I think I will need some time to trust that it will and I can. Short term this is going to be tough but it's the bigger picture I am looking at. It's a change and change is hard (especially when you're a control freak who spends their life organising and managing things like I am and do). I'm ready for change now though. I've worked hard at this for a long time and it's time.

How's that for psyching myself up haha! 😉

I've got time for a quick shower then I'm off to work 😁

Thanks heaps again, for the belief in me when mine has gone awol. And for the encouragement and support. Forum power rocks ❤

Hope there's good in the day for all 🤞👋😘☕☕☕☕ (lots of coffee haha)

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear ... sounds like just another day there in the CheerBear household ... LOL 🤣

You CAN do this, you ARE ready, you WANT this, you have worked so hard towards it ... and you will be great at it. Just have faith in yourself. And give the kids away to a good home ... joke! 😊💕
