Re: Taking the plunge

Lol @Former-Member

@Former-Member one visit over and a full week to go for you. Yes my ex was from NZ also, that's where I spent my convent years. @Former-Member Mainly South Island, but have visited north island too, south is better in my opinion. The low BP is a bugger, I can hardly walk across the lounge room let alone take a shower. My readings are both double figures headed for the lower count. Hope you manage to get your sorted. Humm more black eyes.

@Former-Member I'm all over the place in this post but bear with me, I'll get there. Is it this week your hubby gets another injection in his back????? If so, you have a stressful week ahead. Let me know what time suits for the face mask and beer for the blokes and blotettes!!!!!! @Former-Member Do you have a free evening for an online pampering????? Hope some sense is found in this post.

Re: Taking the plunge

Wow - we have so much in common. South Island is beautiful @Maggie. I found New Zealanders to be very down to earth, a little wild and free, loved the farming lifestyle - and they did enjoy their liquor (too much). I remember with fondness how every sentence ended in "ey". Most I knew came here to live.

Your post made lots of sense my friend. I hope you are having your blood pressure checked - I don't like the sound of it. If it gets worse please somehow get yourself to your local hospital for a check up.

Yes, my husband also gets another injection on Friday. It will be a stressful week.....one day at a time.

It was nice to spend time with my daughter - I am very proud of how hard she is trying - she is working most days as she now has two jobs. She seems to be maturing but I am worried how she seems obsessed of covering herself with tattoos. I am finding this hard to deal with as I worry if this will back fire on her with relationships and jobs. She is studying to be a youth worker which my GP said she would be good at - so in this may not come against her. She presently works in hospitality and is a hard worker.

I don't mind a few tattoos, but her arms are covered, parts of her legs and she wants more. I don't understand this. I don't want her judged wrongly either. She has a good heart now. She did look really pretty today though. Boy, I have to stop worrying about her.

Any night this week for the girlies night should be fun, just tag me and I will jump on as soon as I can. But please look after you as your health is the number one priority. Don't let that BP drop too low...Sending warm hugs xx

Re: Taking the plunge

Oh dear, I just can't make it in the real world, no matter how hard I try. My contact ( won't call her a friend ) asked me to meet her in town last week for coffee. Town for me is noise, people fear in huge proportions. I said yes because I didn't want to offend her, but the panic I was feeling just thinking about it, made me realise I wasn't going to be able to do it. Reluctantly I sent an email saying I couldn't go feeling like I had let her down and waited for her response. Yesterday I received it. The relationship, obviously not a friendship is over. I prefer to be alone so, that's how she is leaving me, have a good Christmas. WOW, I'm missing something here, throw away society yay! Just been dumped AGAIN. I'm numb atm.
