@TAB
I am feeling horrible myself at the moment.......just house still on market.....older son somewhere interstate health far worse....just a matter of time....so thinking about today only..
I have noticed that you have inadvertently had people get upset with you through no fault of your own...
this has happened to myself as well....
you have done nothing wrong....you have been your lovely friendly self....they are unwell and just need time out...you also have your own issues as well as ongoing back pain...
sometimes sensitivity....self esteem...symptoms of illness can colour peoples opinions of others...
we can not carry their issues as well as our own..
just keep on being cheery Tab

I feel like :pile_of_poo: But figure if I wait to feel any better, I might be waiting a long time. BP is still going down I see dr on wed so hope to find out about my nose????? @Former-Member I lived in NZ for 25 yrs, it's absolutely beautiful, and cold. A great place for a holiday, highly recommend it. Good to hear D is home and you are well, okish. I had great plans for a long post but now have brain freeze. Might have to do it in small doses. Anyway, thinking of you all.😩😩

Re: Taking the plunge
Hi @Maggie. Sorry you still feel like sh**, but really glad you made the effort to post. I always love hearing from you. You're right of course, and I do it myself, if you wait until you're feeling better, that time may not come. In order to MAKE yourself feel better, sometimes you just have to "plunge right in there" and make an effort. Just like you've done.
Not good that your blood pressure is continuing to stay too low. Mine too has been giving me some problems the past couple of weeks. Lots of dizziness and when I've taken my BP its been quite low again. Oh well, I need to see my GP as soon as I make the effort to ring for an appointment. No doubt that will send my BP right back up there! Ha ha, it always does. The old white coat syndrome for me. Regarding the broken nose, how awful that you've been putting up with it this long without them so much as checking it out before. I think you may well be right in that they will need to rebreak it in order to realign and reset it. Black eyes in store for you I suspect. But at least it will help your breathing again once its fixed.
25 years in NZ ... really? I didnt know that about you Maggie. North or South Island? It is all very beautiful of course. And the cold ... well, that doesnt bother me, nor you either I guess.
Okay so I will leave it at that for now, but your effort in posting deserved a prompt response. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday Maggie. And give that little fluffy dog of yours a big pat from me. Speaking of little dogs, I have just finished giving Holly a bath. Not her most favourite thing, as she tends to run and hide under the dining table when she sees me getting the laundry tub ready along with her towell. But she is very accepting once I get her in there. And she always gets a little treat afterwards. So its ALMOST worth it for her I think.
Thinking of you too Maggie. And also @Former-Member, @TAB @Former-Member @utopia @Shaz51 @Former-Member.

Re: Taking the plunge
Hi @Maggie
Sorry to read that you still feeling like :pile_of_poo:. Hopefully your nose and BP will be sorted on Wednesday. Dips in blood pressure will send the mood spiralling down also. Not good.
New Zealand is a beautiful place. My first love was from there. Pity about all the earthquakes and the damage they have done to their grand historical buildings. You have lived in some beautiful places.
My brother just left phew. It was good to see him but his paranoia is getting worse and it starts to wear thin over 24 hrs. Must be awful for him. My daughter met us for a scrumptious lunch and then we went for a walk around my favourite beach. All in all a good day but feeling a little tense. I hope my friends are okay and will try and be their for them during the week (when they get more news of the severity of his lung cancer). Hope you feel better soon my friend. Sending warm hugs
