Re: Taking the plunge
Your state is definitely staying in lockdown longer than the rest @CheerBear . That makes it extra tough I think. Knowing normality is returning elsewhere. Yes, not forever. Something we all need to remind ourselves of.
We are also haveing beautiful days after coolish starts. It’s my favourite season. Leaves are changing colours , and falling. 🍁🍂🍂 That was what got me out gardening yesterday, so I can imagine the crew finding it hard. We will enjoy our freedom when it returns.
I hope some painting today, but I really need to clean, no room to put anything. But you never know what a day might bring.

Mr A is a handful, and there's sometimes not nice things about it. My irritation meter is a short one right now, and he sure knows how to get under my skin. He meows very loudly at times, and is quite persistent until I get up to see what he wants. He also rubs or bites my phone like now to get attention. And he'll jump onto the kitchen bench to see if what I having is suitable for him.

@Sans911 You have been through so much, and still working through huge stuff, so irritation meter being short is very understandable. I do think animals sense stuff though. My girl can get really clingy when I’ll struggling, it’s not always easy to deal with sometimes, even though I love her with everything I have. At least my girl can’t jump on the bench, but she’s knows she will share what’s on my plate. 💙💜☕️☕️🐶😾:angry_face_with_horns::angry_face_with_horns:

Thanks for the tag @Maggie ..... just pouring my first coffee now. I haven't been drinking it much in iso ..... preferring tea for some reason (maybe needing to drop the energy levels without being able to go out walking .....) but this morning it's coffee ..... assignment needs to be submitted this afternoon and presented this evening.
Hugs to all who need one 💕💕💕

Re: Taking the plunge
Morning @Faith-and-Hope 😊💖
Its always tea for me. Never been a coffee person. If I go out to a cafe, I usually order a chai latte. Just so I dont look so ordinary by ordering a pot of tea. Besides these days, a pot of tea usually comes with a tea bag ... urgh. :face_with_rolling_eyes: Why bother with a teapot if you're only going to stuff a teabag in there? Bags are not the same as loose leaves.
Yesterday I had an iced coffee, which was nice. It was an afternoon post-lunch treat. Mr Sherry likes it too, so I usually have a bottle in the fridge.
Thanks @Maggie @CheerBear ... yes doing things hard right now, so your messages are appreciated. Thanks for the hugs too @Faith-and-Hope .. yes I need one. I expect you do too. Best of luck with the submission and presentation of your assignment this afternoon/evening. 👍🌺
I emailed my (former?) psychologist last night when I was feeling particularly low. I got a response from her an hour or so ago, and it looks like I will get to talk to her later. Probably via email, but I think that would be helpful right now. I hope it happens, I need to talk to her. Things I really cannot talk about here on the forums, not even on my own thread. 😔
Must go ... chemist run this morning, and fishing coop on my way back. Fish night tonight .. Mr Sherry's favourite salmon, provided they have some in today. Although the nursing home I usually volunteer at remains closed to all visitors, I have been phoning weekly and talking to the lady I usually visit. I think she knows who I am, but given her advancing dementia, its sometimes hard to tell. But she always finishes our conversations with "thank you for calling, you have made my day". I think its a habit thing, but its still nice to hear.
Sherry 💕🤗
