Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear I am having a very strong coffee. Cardinal Pell walks free. I feel sick. A sad sad day for so many of us hoping for justice. Power and money win again.

Re: Taking the plunge
So much for my little exclusive circle a few days ago @CheerBear . Just when you think you might make some headway, you realise it’s still as big as it ever way. One thing, and the world crumbled beneath my feet. I’ve talked with counsellor. It’s hard for those who stand with us also.
Pell is probably drinking champagne from his private jet atm. Pell, Hell, just one letter.
Sorry.
Has your day been ok?

My day is similar. Feels like a 'by a thread' day today. Things feel overwhelming. So much suffering, grief, loss, helplessness everywhere. So many struggling in so many ways. I've got the feels. It'll pass. There's lots of good to see and be part of, but right now I'm under the not so good.

I thought you might be feeling the pressure also @CheerBear .
I’m going to have a coffee. I never usually have one in the afternoon.

Re: Taking the plunge
School is out for term 2. That takes it to at least July before they go back. That was my tipping point today. It seems minor but not. Ugh. Today can end please.
I'm thinking of you. Little words for what many are going through today on top of what's already happening. So many feels. Huge love ❤

Electric blanket? I will definitely be collecting the cats tonight. Missing Mr today 🙁
Hiding under your woollen doona sounds like a good way to look after you. Blanket burrito maybe.
Mega 🖤 to you @Maggie

Oh gosh. Caught in the middle @CheerBear
Sorry Mr isn’t there tonight. Yes, cats, or puppy are the way to go.
Mega 🖤 to you too. I found this. It made me smile. I hope it does for you.

Re: Taking the plunge
We had takeaway tonight so I didn't have to make dinner or think about tidying up 🎉 Crew all chilled out again. Now I can curl up with the cats and my game.
I hope you're doing OK under that doona. Here with a shoulder or a listening eye if you'd like. You're not alone.
❤
