Re: Taking the plunge
The triage person was super kind (possibly a bursting at the seams ED, a mum who looks and sounds like death warmed up, and a crying kid in a sling with a worried sibling next to them helped there) and asked a dr to have a sneaky quick look at the x-rays to see if we should wait or just go home. They said it "should be fine" and today I am very happy to accept "should be fine". We were there for less than 10 minutes 🙏 and home in time to get Big and make it to training for one.
Definitely not the day I had planned though. I always feel smashed down by this stuff. Stretched and very on my own with it all. Needing to put my own stuff aside, no matter how I am feeling or what I am doing, and deal with it. I am exhausted.
Sorry for the vent. Right now I could curl up in a ball and not get up for a good while 🙁

Oh @CheerBear . I did think of that when I read your post. How you have to put how you are feeling aside , and push through, even when very unwell yourself. I can well imagine the alone feels being super big there. Big 💙💙
“Should be fine”, sounds ok enough today. Two previous breaks, ouch. Definitely worrying.
Yes, hyper big bug news and carry on. Personally it sounds like another flu, but I have no real knowledge of what actually is happening. Media can be alarming.
I hope you can find some kind of down time @CheerBear . You were exhausted before this started. How do you ask a sick mum to take care?????? Words can be useless sometimes. Sending the biggest 💙💙💙💙

Off to training hoping so, so badly Little doesn't repeat last week's "how not to do team player" :face_with_rolling_eyes:

Re: Taking the plunge
I’m feeling the “ big” with you @CheerBear . Remember, a 9 mth old brought me undone, long before she hit that grand old age. Parenting is the hardest job, (not right word, ) but, lifestyle maybe better.
I hope littles “ how not to do team work” has gone through some digestion. 💜💜💜
Going to look for a virtual snuggle blanket pic.
I hope You evening ( weather wise,) is like ours, it’s beautiful here.☀️☀️

I’m going to a meeting at 6.30. 🤞🤞🤞🤞
If I miss you this morning @CheerBear , I hope you can manage some down time today. You might have a crew member home, not sure there. 💜💜🌈🌈🛌🛌

Hopefully no crew member at home today 🤞
How are you feeling about heading to a meeting this morning? How was your yesterday afternoon and night?

Re: Taking the plunge
All over the place regarding the meeting @CheerBear. But pushing through big doubts, hoping it pays off........eventually.
Yesterday was a better day after the inspection. The night before I decided to make soup at midnight. 🤔🤔🤔 So I had a kitchen overload the morning of the inspection. It was a distraction kind of thing. I went into overload in my mind. Anyway, I now have a freezer full of soup. 😂😂😂
How are you feeling?
How did little go at soccer?

Re: Taking the plunge
I giggled at midnight soup 😊 Funny, just before I read that I thought about making soup today. What type did you make?
I'm feeling a bit meh. Annoyingly was wide awake until silly o'clock this morning. Too much in my head maybe plus the medication i got yesterday can keep you awake. It's only a 3 day course though so short term.
Little did awesomely thanks. We had a good chat before training and made a few goals for them to work on (not using their body as a weapon kind of thing :face_with_rolling_eyes:) and talked about why and what to do instead. They were so receptive and I could see them work really hard on it. Big improvement. There are some very pushy and mouthy kids and they found it difficult not to fight back. It's going to be a learning experience for us all I think!

Re: Taking the plunge
Yea, I get the ....when to stop pushing. I want to give it my best shot @CheerBear , but it’s tough going.
Well I made roasted cauliflower in one pot, then roasted pumpkin in another. I literally have mess everywhere. I paid for it yesterday. My hands swelling after all the cutting etc. I knew it would happen, but it was the only way I could push through the major meltdown happening inside my head.
Sorry the meds are a problem. Helps with one things, causing problems with other stuff. I have lots of trouble with any kind of meds. Sensitive system. 🙃🙃
Aww. So proud of little. ❤️❤️It’s a tough world out there. Especially when you are little. You are so good with your crew @CheerBear . They are lucky, and I know you are lucky to have them. A win win. 💜💜
Some quiet time for you today.....hopefully. 💙💙🤞
